ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ নতুন প্রজন্মের ছেলে মেয়েদের বিকল্প কাজের দিশা দেখাতে স্কুল অফ ডে টেডার্সের উদ্যোগে কলকাতায় অনুষ্ঠিত হল স্টক মার্কেটের ওপর এক আলোচনাসভা। অনুষ্ঠানের মূল বক্তা ছিলেন বিশিষ্ট স্টক মার্কেট বিশেষজ্ঞ ভোলানাথ দাস। স্টক মার্কেটে বিনিযোগ সংক্রান্ত বিভিন্ন তথ্য ও তার ব্যবহারিক প্রয়োগ নিয়ে তিনি বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করেন। শেয়ার বাজারের পাশাপাশি ট্রেডিং স্ট্রাটেজি, রিস্ক ম্যানেজমেন্টের মত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়েও তিনি আলোকপাত করেন। ফাইন্যান্স সেক্টরের একজন বিদগ্ধ ব্যক্তিত্বকে সামনে পেয়ে ছাত্রছাত্রীরা সমৃদ্ধ হন। তারা জানান,ভবিষ্যতে এ ধরণের ইভেন্ট শহরে আরও অনুষ্ঠিত হলে যুব প্রজন্মের কেরিয়ারের বিভিন্ন
দিক আরও উজ্জ্বল হবে। তিনি বলেন, বর্তমান সময়ে সরকারি চাকরি ক্রমশ সংকুচিত হচ্ছে। বেসরকারি চাকরির ক্ষেত্রেও প্রতিযোগিতা বাড়ছে। সেই জায়গায় দাঁড়িয়ে শেয়ার ট্রেডিং যদি সঠিক প্রশিক্ষণ নিয়ে করা যায় এর থেকে বড় স্বনির্ভর আয়ের উৎস আর হতেই পারে না।

He said that at present, government jobs are gradually shrinking. Competition for private jobs is also increasing. If share trading can be done with proper training standing in that place, there can be no greater self-sufficient source of income than this.
