মেদিনীপুরঃ মহান তাপস সৈয়েদোনা হজরত সৈয়দ শাহ মেহের আলী আল কাদেরি যিনি আলা হুজুর নামে সমধিক প্রসিদ্ধ তাঁর ১৫৯ তম বাৎসরিক উরস শরিফ তাঁরই প্রপৌত্র মেদিনিপুর খানকাহ শরীফের সাজ্জাদানশিন পীরসাহেব হজরত মওলানা সৈয়দ শাহ জেলাল মুরশেদ আল কাদেরির তত্ত্বাবধানে ৬ই ফাল্গুন ইং ১৯ শে ফেব্রুয়ারি রবিবার মেদিনীপুর খানকাহ শরিফে মহাসাড়ম্বরে উদযাপিত হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে হাজার হাজার ভক্ত ও শিষ্যের সমাগম ঘটে।
উরস শরীফের এই অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসাবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকারের ক্রেতা সুরক্ষা মন্ত্ৰী শ্ৰীকান্ত মাহাত। অনুষ্ঠানে অন্যান্য বিশিষ্ট অতিথিবর্গের মধ্যে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিধায়ক- পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলা পরিষদের সহ সভাপতি অজিত মাইতি, আলিয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্য ও পশ্চিমবঙ্গ মাদ্রাসা শিক্ষা পর্ষদের সভাপতি ডঃ আবু তাহের কামরুদ্দিন, বঙ্গীয় সংখ্যালঘু বুদ্ধিজীবী মঞ্চের সভাপতি অধ্যাপক ওয়ায়েজুল হক, বিশিষ্ট সমাজসেবী সুজয় হাজরা, মেদিনীপুর পৌরসভার পৌরপ্রধান সৌমেন খান, অতিরিক্ত জেলা ও দায়রা বিচারক, কলকাতা পুলিশের অ্যাসিস্ট্যান্ট কমিশনার জিয়াউল কাদের, মেদিনিপুরের ডি.এস.পি. ফয়জল বিন আহমেদ, মেদিনীপুর পৌরসভার পৌর পারিষদ সৌরভ বসু, সুশোময় মুখার্জি, কাউন্সিলর সেখ সাইফুল ইসলাম, সেখ মোজাম্মেল হোসেন, সত্যসুন্দর পড়া, কলম পত্রিকার সম্পাদক কাজী আলী আকবর, কাদেরী টাইমস পত্রিকার সম্পাদক সৈয়দ মিনহাজ আল-হুসেইনী কাদেরী প্রমুখ।
মন্ত্রী শ্রীকান্ত মাহাত দ্বারা উরস শরীফ উপলক্ষে কাদেরি টাইমসের বার্ষিক উরুস সংখ্যা প্রকাশিত হয়। পীর সাহেবের সুযোগ্য পুত্র, মওলানা আজাদ কলেজের আরবি বিভাগের বিভাগীয় প্রধান অধ্যাপক ডঃ সৈয়দ মুস্তাফা মুরশেদ জামাল শাহ আল কাদেরি তাঁর বক্তব্যে আলা হুজুরের সুমহান জীবনাদর্শের বিভিন্ন দিক নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন এবং শিষ্যদের তা থেকে শিক্ষা নিতে উৎসাহিত করেন। অনুষ্ঠান শেষে পীর সাহেব মানবকল্যান ও শান্তির বার্তা প্রদান করে সমগ্র ভক্তদের উদ্দেশ্য বিশেষ হেদায়েতের শিক্ষা দেন।
The 159th annual Urs Sharif of Hazrat Syed Shah Meher Ali Al Qaderi, popularly known as Ala Huzur, was celebrated at Medinipur Khanqah Sharif on Sunday, February 19, 2018, under the supervision of Hazrat Maulana Syed Shah Gelal Murshed Al Qaderi, the sajjadanashin pirsaheb of Madinapur Khanqah Sharif. Thousands of devotees and disciples gathered at the event. Shrikant Mahat, Minister of Consumer Protection, Government of West Bengal was present as the Chief Guest at the event. Among others, Mla- West Midnapore Zila Parishad Vice President Ajit Maity, Aliah University Vice-Chancellor and President of West Bengal Madrasah Education Board Dr Abu Taher Kamruddin, President of Bangiya Minority Intellectuals Forum Professor Waijul Haque, eminent social worker Sujoy Hazra, Municipal Chief of Medinipur Municipality Soumen Khan, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Assistant Commissioner of Kolkata Police Ziaul Kader were present on the occasion. Among others, Municipal Councilor of Medinipur Municipality Saurav Basu, Sushomoy Mukherjee, Councilor Sheikh Saiful Islam, Sheikh Mozammel Hossain, Satyasundar Padha, Kalom Editor Kazi Ali Akbar, Kaderi Times Editor Syed Minhaz Al-Hussaini Kaderi, among others, were present. The annual Urus issue of Kaderi Times was published on the occasion of Urs Sharif by Minister Shrikant Mahat. Prof. Dr. Syed Mustafa Murshed Jamal Shah Al Qaderi, head of the Department of Arabic at Maulana Azad College, the worthy son of Pir Sahib, in his speech discussed various aspects of the noble philosophy of Ala Huzur and encouraged the disciples to learn from it. At the end of the ceremony, Pir Sahib gave a message of human welfare and peace and taught special guidance to the entire devotees.
