ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ বিরাট ধর্মীয় শোভা যাত্রার মাধ্যমে কলকাতার বালিগঞ্জ ভারত সেবাশ্রম সংঘে তিন দিন ব্যাপী শিবরাত্রি অনুষ্ঠানের সুচনা হল। রাজ্যের বিভিন্ন জেলা থেকে আগত কয়েকশো মানুষ শোভাযাত্রার মাধ্যমে কলকাতার বালিগঞ্জে সঙ্ঘের প্রধান কার্যালয় থেকে রাসবিহারী, হাজরা হয়ে বালিগঞ্জে সংঘের কার্যালয় এসে পৌঁছান। পদযাত্রা শুরুতে নেতৃত্ব দেন অশ্বারোহী অস্ত্রধারী সন্ন্যাসীরা। এরপর ব্রহ্মচারী, স্বেচ্ছাসেবক ও বিভিন্ন হিন্দু মিলন মন্দিরের সদস্যরা পদযাত্রায় পা মেলান। সঙ্ঘের প্রধান সম্পাদক স্বামী বিশ্বাত্মানন্দ মহারাজ বলেন, সঙ্ঘের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা স্বামী প্রণবানন্দ মহারাজের আদর্শে সঙ্ঘ এগিয়ে চলেছে। তিন দিনব্যাপী শিবরাত্রি উপলক্ষে নানা ধর্মীয় আলোচনা সভার আয়োজন করা হয়েছে। এছাড়া লাঠি খেলা, ছোরা খেলা সহ বিভিন্ন কসরত প্রদর্শিত হবে।
Indrajit Aich: A three-day-long Shivaratri celebration was inaugurated at the Ballygunge Bharat Sevashram Sangha in Kolkata with a huge religious procession. Hundreds of people from different districts of the state marched from the Sangh’s headquarters in Ballygunge, Kolkata, to the Sangha office in Ballygunge via Rashbehari, Hazra. At the beginning of the march, the monks with equestrian weapons led. Brahmacharis, volunteers and members of various Hindu milan temples then joined the march. Swami Vishwatmananda Maharaj, chief secretary of the Sangh, said that the Sangh is moving ahead on the ideology of its founder Swami Pranabananda Maharaj. Various religious discussion meetings have been organized on the occasion of Shivaratri for three days. Apart from this, various exercises including stick game, knife game will be displayed.
