Own Reporting: inauguration ceremony of ‘ INK SPINE UPDATE 2023 ‘ on 18th February (Saturday) 2023 at 4 pm. INK SPINE UPDATE 2023 is an academic extravaganza that aims at training young spine surgeons of India the the advanced techniques- Motion preserving cervical disc replacement and Endoscopic Spine Surgeries which even can be done while the patient is awake. Endoscopic spine Surgery is a form of minimally invasive spine surgery which can be done with a skin cut as small as 8 mm. The patient can be discharged home the same day or the next day following surgery and can have very early return to normal activities and workplace. We have Dr Karim Maxine Challali who has performed highest number of Unilateral Biportal Endoscopic spine surgeries in Europe as faculty for this surgical Workshop. This is a first of its kind endeavor in Eastern India. 25 surgeons from different parts of the country have registered for this training workshop.
