মোহাম্মদ জাকারিয়াঃ উত্তর দিনাজপুরঃ রবিবার বিকালে উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলার গোয়ালপোখর ১ নম্বর ব্লকের অন্তর্গত গুয়া গাও এক গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের খররা গ্রামে রাজ্যের সংখ্যালঘু উন্নয়ন দপ্তরের মন্ত্রী গোলাম রাব্বানী সাধারণ মানুষের একাধিক সমস্যার কথা শুনছিলেন তার সাথে উপস্থিত ছিলেন গুয়া গাও গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের তৃণমূল নেতৃত্বরা। ঠিক সেই সময় ফোনের মাধ্যমে জানতে পারে যে বিপরীত উত্তর বস্তিতে রান্নার বাড়ি থেকে আগুন খড়ের গাদায় লেগেছে, শোনা মাত্রই দেরি না করে তৎক্ষণাৎ ঐখান থেকে বেরিয়ে বিপরীত উত্তর বস্তিতে আসেন এবং নিজেই দমকল বাহিনীর সাথে বিভিন্ন জায়গায় আগুন নিভানোর চেষ্টা চালিয়ে যান। রাজ্যের মন্ত্রীর এই রূপ দেখে সাধারণ মানুষেরা হতাম্বিত হয়েছেন। সম্পূর্ণভাবে আগুন নিভানোর পর সাধারণ মানুষদের আশ্বাস দিয়ে ,গ্রামের মহিলাদের সচেতন করলেন কারণ দশ দিনের মধ্যেই গোয়ালপোখরে চারটি গ্রামে আগুনের ঘটনা ঘটেছে। তার এই ব্যবহারই প্রশংসায় পঞ্চমুখ হয়েছেন সাধারণ মানুষেরা।
