Kolkata, 28th February, 2023: এমএসএমই ডেভেলপমেন্ট ফোরাম-ওয়েস্ট বেঙ্গল চ্যাপ্টার মঙ্গলবার হোটেল নীহারিকাতে একটি আলোচনাচক্রের আয়োজন করে। ‘অ্যাডভান্টেজ এমএসএমই-দ্য বিগ স্ট্রাইডস শীর্ষক এই আলোচনাচক্রে অংশ নেন এনসিএলটি কলকাতা বার অ্যাসোসিয়েশন, কনসার্ন ফর ক্যালকাটা এবং মাল্টি কমোডিটি এক্সচেঞ্জ অফ ইন্ডিয়া লিমিটেড (এমসিএক্স)। MSME-এর মত অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ক্ষেত্রে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের বাজার তুলে ধরার উদ্দেশ্য নিয়েই অনুষ্ঠানটি হয়েছিল। পশ্চিমবঙ্গে দেশের দ্বিতীয় সর্বোচ্চ সংখ্যক MSME রয়েছ সেগুলোর সুবিধা এবং সরকারের বিভিন্ন স্কিমগুলি ছড়িয়ে দেওয়ার লক্ষ্যে বিভিন্ন বক্তারা তাদের বক্তব্য পেশ করেন।
আইআইএম শিলং-এর চেয়ারম্যান শ্রী শিশির বাজোরিয়া সমগ্র অনুষ্ঠানটি পরিচালনা করেন। অ্যাডভোকেট নারায়ণ জৈন, জাতীয় উপ-সভাপতি, অল ইন্ডিয়া ফেডারেশন অফ ট্যাক্স প্র্যাকটিশনারস (এআইএফটিপি); সিএ সঞ্জিব সাংঘি, ICAI-এর ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান EIRC; সিএস (ড.) অ্যাডভোকেট মমতা বিনানি, প্রাক্তন সভাপতি ICSI এবং MSME ডেভেলপমেন্ট ফোরাম WB চ্যাপ্টারের প্রেসিডেন্ট; শ্রী এস এম গুপ্ত, NCLT কলকাতা বার অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সভাপতি; মিঃ কে এস অধিকারী, কলকাতার কনসার্নের সভাপতি এবং আরও অনেক বিশিষ্টজনেরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন। মুখ্য আলোচ্য বিষয়গুলি ছিল “MSME এর প্রতি সরকারের দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি”, “MSME এর জন্য মৌলিক প্রযুক্তি”, “MSME এবং স্টার্ট আপের জন্য আয়কর সুবিধা” এবং “MSME এর জন্য আর্থিক পরিকল্পনা”।
সিএস (ড.) অ্যাডভোকেট. মমতা বিনানি, প্রাক্তন সভাপতি ICSI এবং MSME ডেভেলপমেন্ট ফোরাম WB চ্যাপ্টারের সভাপতি বলেন, “MSME হল এমন একটি সেক্টর যা শুধুমাত্র GDP ধরে রাখে এবং বৃদ্ধিই করে না বরং এটি জাতির আর্থ-সামাজিক ও ন্যায়সঙ্গত প্রবৃদ্ধির জন্য একটি বড় প্ল্যাটফর্ম। ৬ কোটিরও বেশি ইউনিট এবং 11 কোটিরও বেশি কর্মী, রয়েছে। এমএসএমই সেক্টরটি কৃষির পরে দেশের দ্বিতীয় বৃহত্তম নিয়োগকর্তা। জিডিপির আনুমানিক 30% এবং সমস্ত ভারতীয় রপ্তানির 45% এরও বেশি এই খাতে যাচ্ছে, অর্থনীতিতে যথেষ্ট অবদান রয়েছে। সরকার সর্বদা বিশ্বব্যাপী মূল্য শৃঙ্খলে MSME-এর প্রতিযোগিতার উন্নতি করতে এবং বৃদ্ধির জন্য তাদের প্রয়োজনীয় সহায়তা দেওয়ার চেষ্টা করে চলেছেন।”
MSME সম্পর্কে: MSME বৈশ্বিক র্যাঙ্কিং সূচকে ভারতের অর্থনীতিকে শক্তিশালী করতে অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে। বর্তমান ভারতের জিডিপির প্রায় 30 শতাংশ, যার মধ্যে 63 মিলিয়নেরও বেশি MSME রয়েছে যা সাম্প্রতিক আনুমানিক গণনা অনুসারে প্রায় দ্বিগুণ হয়েছে। দেখা যাচ্ছে সেক্টরটি কত দ্রুত বর্ধিত হচ্ছে । 2022 সাল পর্যন্ত, বার্ষিক 37% বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে এবং মোট রপ্তানির প্রায় অর্ধেক হয়েছে। এই সেক্টরের দক্ষতা এবং অভিযোজনযোগ্যতা সবচেয়ে মূল্যবান ও কার্যকর ক্ষেত্র হিসেবে উঠে এসেছে।
Kolkata, 28th February, 2023: The MSME Development Forum-West Bengal Chapter along with NCLT Kolkata Bar Association, Concern for Calcutta and Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) organized a program on ‘Advantage MSME-The Big Strides’ today at Hotel Niharika, Kolkata.
It was held with an objective to showcase the talent and entrepreneurship of West Bengal in the very vital space of MSMEs. West Bengal houses the second highest number of MSMEs in the country and this program was held with the objective of disseminating the advantages that MSMEs have and the various schemes that the Government has for them.
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Shishir Bajoria, Chairman IIM Shillong; Adv. Narayan Jain, National Deputy President, All India Federation of Tax Practitioners (AIFTP); CA Sanjib Sanghi, Vice Chairman EIRC of ICAI; CS (Dr.) Adv. Mamta Binani, Past President ICSI & President of MSME Development Forum WB Chapter; Mr. S M Gupta, President with NCLT Kolkata Bar Association; Mr. K S Adhikari, President Concern for Calcutta and many others. The topics for the program was “Government outlook towards MSME”, “Basic Technology for MSME”, “Income Tax benefits for MSME and Start Ups” and “Finance Schemes for MSME”.
On this occasion, CS (Dr.) Adv. Mamta Binani, Past President ICSI & President of MSME Development Forum WB Chapter said, “MSME is one sector which not only holds the GDP and grows it but is a big enabler for the socio and equitable growth of the nation. With more than 6 crore units and over 11 crore workers, the MSME sector is the second-largest employer in the country after agriculture. With approximately 30% of the GDP and more than 45% of all Indian exports going to this sector, there is a substantial contribution to economic growth. The government is always trying to improve MSMEs’ competitiveness in the global value chain and give them the tools they need for sustained growth.”
About MSME: MSME plays a very important role in strengthening the economy of India on global ranking indexes. As per present estimates, nearly 30 percent of the GDP of India, which has more than 63 million MSMEs which by a latest estimated count has almost doubled, shows how quickly the sector is developing. As of 2022, the sector has grown by 37% yearly and accounted for almost half of the total exports. The dexterity and adaptability of this sector has proved to be the most precious gifts that has lent shine to entrepreneurship, employability and business acumen.
