মৃন্ময় রায় মেখলিগঞ্জঃ সোমবার, বিএসএফের (পূর্ব কমান্ড) ADG (IPS) শ্রীমতি সোনালী মিশ্র কোচবিহারের মেখলিগঞ্জ সীমান্তের তিনবিঘা করিডোর পরিদর্শনে আসলেন। সাথে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিএসএফ অন্যান্য কর্মকর্তারা। বিএসএফ সূত্রে খবর চলতি ২৭ ফেব্রুয়ারি থেকে আগামী ৩মার্চ পর্যন্ত সরকারি সফরে উত্তরবঙ্গ ফ্রন্টিয়ার আসেন। এদিন সেই সফরসূচিতে ভারতের তিনবিঘা করিডোর পরিদর্শনে আসেন। সেখানে বর্ডার গার্ড বাংলাদেশের কর্মকর্তাদের হাতে মিষ্টি উপহার দেন। এরপর তিনবিঘা করিডোর সবুজায়নের বার্তা দিতে বৃক্ষ রোপন করেন। বিএসএফ কর্মকর্তাদের সাথে কথা বলেন বিভিন্ন বিষয় নিয়ে।
সোমবার, BSF এর IG শ্রী অজয় সিং ভারত-বাংলাদেশ সীমান্তে উদীয়মান চ্যালেঞ্জ এবং সেগুলি মোকাবেলার কৌশল সম্পর্কে ADG সামনে বিশদে উপস্থাপনা করেন। এডিজি শ্রীমতি সোনালী মিশ্র (ইস্টার্ন কমান্ড) ঊর্ধ্বতন বিএসএফ অফিসারদের সাথে অপারেশনাল এবং প্রশাসনিক বিষয়ে আলোচনা করেন । বর্তমান নিরাপত্তা পরিস্থিতি এবং বিএসএফ উত্তরবঙ্গ ফ্রন্টিয়ারের অপারেশনাল প্রস্তুতি পর্যালোচনা করেছেন তিনি।
এডিজি শ্রীমতি সোনালী মিশ্র ভারত বাংলাদেশ সীমান্তের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অপারেশনাল নির্দেশনা জারি করেন এবং উত্তরবঙ্গ ফ্রন্টিয়ারের বিএসএফ কর্মকর্তাদের সাথে বৈঠকের সময় সীমান্তের ওপার থেকে অপরাধীদের এবং দেশবিরোধী কার্যকলাপ রোধ করতে সীমান্তে কঠোর নজরদারি রাখার নির্দেশ দেয় । তবে এদিন তিনি ভারত বাংলাদেশ সীমান্তের বিএসএফ জওয়ানদের প্রচেষ্টার প্রশংসা করেছেন।

Sonali Mishra issued important operational instructions along the Indo-Bangladesh border and during a meeting with bsf officials of North Bengal Frontier directed to keep strict vigil along the border to prevent criminals and anti-national activities from across the border. However, he appreciated the efforts of bsf jawans along the Indo-Bangladesh border.
