চোখের মণির পাশে রয়েছে একটি আস্ত কৃমি

মালদা, ২ মার্চ : পরীক্ষা-নিরীক্ষা করে জানা গেল মহিলার ডান চোখের মণির পাশে রয়েছে একটি আস্ত কৃমি। বুধবার রাতে মালদা শহরের সর্বমঙ্গলা পল্লী এলাকায় একটি চক্ষু সেবা কেন্দ্রে অস্ত্রোপচার করে মহিলার চোখ থেকে বের করা হয় প্রায় ৫ এম এম লম্বা একটি জ্যান্ত কৃমি। চিকিৎসকরা জানিয়েছেন এটি দুর্লভ ঘটনা। আগে মাঝে মধ্যে এমন ঘটনা দেখা যেত। বর্তমানে এই ঘটনা বিরল। কৃমির জন্য হতে পারত চোখ নষ্ট, এমন কি ব্রেনে পৌঁছে গেলে মৃত্যুর আশঙ্কাও ছিল। অস্ত্রোপচারের পর ভালো রয়েছেন মহিলা। তবে এই ঘটনায় অবাক হয়েছেন পরিবারের লোকেরা। চিকিৎসকদের মতে খালি পায়ে হাঁটলে নাকি অনেক সময় রক্তের মাধ্যমে ডিম্বানু বা কৃমি মানুষের শরীরে প্রবেশ করতে পারে। শরীরে আরো কোথাও কৃমি বা ডিম্বাণু রয়েছে কিনা তা পরীক্ষা করে দেখা হবে বলে জানিয়েছেন চিকিৎসকরা। চক্ষু চিকিৎসক ডা: ধুর্জটি রায়, ডা: রাশি রায় ও ডা: সাগ্নিক দাস তিনজনে অস্ত্রোপচার করে বের করেন আস্ত কৃমি। মালদা জেলার মোথাবাড়ি থানার গঙ্গাপ্রসাদ এলাকায় বাড়ি পঞ্চাশোর্ধ ওই মহিলা আকলামা বেওয়ার। সোমবার তার চোখে ব্যথা অনুভব করেন ওই মহিলা। এরপর চিকিৎসকের দ্বারস্থ হলে পরীক্ষা করে দেখা যায় তার ডান চোখের রয়েছে আস্ত একটি কৃমি।
বুধবার রাতে অস্ত্রোপচার করে বের করা হয় কৃমিটিকে।

However, the family members were surprised by the incident. According to doctors, if you walk barefoot or many times the egg or worm can enter the human body through blood. Doctors said that they will check if there are worms or eggs anywhere else in the body. Ophthalmologists Dr Dhurjati Roy, Dr Rashi Roy and Dr Sagnik Das performed the surgery and removed the worm. The woman, Aklama Bewar, is in her 50s from Gangaprasad area under Mothabari police station in Malda district. The woman felt pain in her eyes on Monday. After going to the doctor, it was found that he had a worm in his right eye. The worm was surgically removed on Wednesday night.
