মালদাঃ অশ্লীল ভাষায় গালিগালাজ করার প্রতিবাদ করায় আক্রান্ত এক দশম শ্রেণীর ছাত্রী। আক্রান্ত ছাত্রী মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন। শুক্রবার রাত্রে ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে মালদার ইংলিশ বাজার থানার যদপুর এলাকায়। জানা গেছে আক্রান্ত ওই ছাত্রীর নাম রামেসা খাতুন। জানা যায় শুক্রবার বিকেলে বাড়ির পাশেই খেলা করছিল ছাত্রী। ঠিক সে সময় প্রতিবেশী তাজমিরা বিবি সহ চারজন তাকে অকথ্য ভাষায় গালিগালাজ করে। এরই প্রতিবাদ করায় ওই ছাত্রীকে মারধর করা হয় বলে অভিযোগ। এরপর ওই ছাত্রীকে নিয়ে আসা হয় মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে। ঘটনা ইংলিশবাজার থানায় শনিবার একটি লিখিত অভিযোগ দায়ের করা হয়েছে। পুরো ঘটনা তদন্ত শুরু করেছে পুলিশ।

The student was allegedly beaten up for protesting against this. The girl was then taken to Malda Medical College Hospital.
