ডানকুনি পুরসভার দশ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডে গতকাল তিরিশ জনের বেশি শিশুকে ভ্যাকসিন দেওয়া হয়েছিল। শিশুদের যাতে জ্বর না আসে সেজন্য তাদের যে ট্যাবলেট দেওয়া হয়েছিল তার তারিখ শেষ হয়ে গেলেও সেই ওষুধ বাচ্চাদের খেতে দেওয়া হোল। এই দেখার পর জনৈক সৌরভ পাত্র ডানকুনি থানায় অভিযোগ দায়ের করতে গেলে থানা অভিযোগ না নিয়ে তাঁকে পুরসভার সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করার পরামর্শ দেয়। পুরসভার সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করে অভিযোগ দায়ের করা হয়েছে। যেখানে ভাইরাস জনিত রোগে বেশ কিছুদিন ধরেই রাজ্যের বিভিন্ন প্রান্ত থেকেই শিশুদের মৃত্যুর খবর আসছে সেখানে কেন শিশুদের ওষুধ দেওয়ার সময়ে সব কিছু খতিয়ে দেখা হোল না?
