মোহাম্মদ জাকারিয়াঃ উত্তর দিনাজপুরঃ স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠনের উদ্যোগে রক্তদান শিবির। উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলার গোয়ালপোখর, এক নম্বর ব্লকের অন্তর্গত লধন হাই স্কুল মাঠে স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠন গোয়ালপোখর আল মাদাদ ওয়েলফেয়ার সোসাইটির উদ্যোগে রক্তদান শিবির অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এই রক্তদান শিবিরে দুপুর না হতেই প্রায় ৩০জন রক্ত দাতাকে রক্ত দিতে দেখা গেল। আরো বাড়বে বলে তারা জানিয়েছেন। এটাই যে তাদের প্রথম সেটাও না, এর আগেও তারা একাধিক জনকল্যাণমূলক কাজ করে সাধারণ মানুষকে হতভম্ব করেছেন। তাই প্রশংসার মুখ্য পাত্র হয়ে উঠেছেন প্রশাসন থেকে শুরু করে রাজনৈতিক মহলেও। যেমন দুঃস্থ পরিবারের সুক্ষ খাবার বিতরণ প্রতিমাসে পাশে । শীতবস্ত্র বিতরণ, নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যক্তির পাশে থাকা। এছাড়াও একাধিক জনম কল্যাণমূলক কাজ তারা সক্রিয়ভাবে করে যাচ্ছেন। তারা জানিয়েছেন আজকের এই রক্ত দান শিবিরে ইসলামপুর ব্লাড ক্যাম্প থেকে গাড়ি আসছে,যা সংগৃহীত রক্ত সেখানে জমা থাকবে বলে তারা জানিয়েছেন। বর্তমান সময়ে যে রক্তের সংকট সেদিকে লক্ষ্য রেখেই তাদের এই উদ্যোগ বলে স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠনের সদস্যরা জানিয়েছেন।
