মোহাম্মদ জাকারিয়াঃ উত্তর দিনাজপুরঃমাননীয়া মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের অনুপ্রেরণায় ও করণদিঘী বিধানসভার বিধায়ক গৌতম পালের উদ্যোগে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকারের পি. এইচ. ই. দপ্তরের আর্থিক সহযোগিতায় দোমোহনা পঞ্চায়েতের অন্তর্গত গোপালপুর, দক্ষিণ কোচড়া ও বারহাশ সংলগ্ন মৌজা গুলিতে বিশুদ্ধ পানীয় জল সরবরাহ প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়নের শুভ সূচনা হয় রবিবার। জল স্বপ্ন প্রকল্প অর্থাৎ যেটির মাধ্যমে মানুষের বাড়ি বাড়ি জল পৌঁছাবে সেটি দোমোহনা গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের তিনটি জায়গায় সূচনা করা হয়। এই তিন জায়গা থেকে 10 থেকে 12 টি মৌজার মানুষ উপকৃত হবে বলেও জানা যায়। প্রায় ১০ কোটির মত প্রতিটি জায়গায় আর্থিক খরচ হবে বলে জানা যায়। মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়কে ও পি. এইচ. ই. দপ্তরকে ধন্যবাদ জানিয়েছেন বিধায়ক গৌতম পাল। বিধায়ক জানান: করণদিঘী ব্লকের মধ্যে এরকম ২৮ টি পানীয় জল সরবরাহ প্রকল্প রয়েছে। এর মাধ্যমে প্রত্যেক বাড়ি বাড়ি জল পৌঁছাবে সেই পরিকল্পনাও আমাদের করা হয়েছে। উদ্বোধন করেন উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলার করণদিঘী বিধানসভার বিধায়ক গৌতম পাল। ছিলেন করণদিঘী থাকার আই. সি. ভবেন রায়, বিশিষ্ট সমাজসেবী সুভাষচন্দ্র সিনহা, দোমোহনা গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের প্রধান গাজলু হক, সমাজসেবী সেখ মানারুল, সমাজসেবী লালন সিংহ সহ অন্যান্যরা। বিধায়কের এমন উদ্যোগে সাধুবাদ জানিয়েছেন এলাকাবাসী।

The implementation of the clean drinking water supply project in Gopalpur, Dakshin Kochra and adjoining Mouzas of Barhash under Domohana panchayat with the financial support of the Department of E. started on Sunday. The Jal Sapna Project, which will provide water to the doorsteps of the people, was launched at three places in Domohana gram panchayat. Prominent social worker Subhash Chandra Sinha, Domohana gram panchayat chief Gajlu Haque, social worker Sheikh Manarul, social worker Lalon Singh and others were present on the occasion.
