মালদা: মালদহের ইংলিশ বাজারের মহদীপুর এলাকায় ভাগীরথী নদীর তীরে শুরু হল পাঁচ দিনব্যাপী রাধাগোবিন্দ লীলা সংকীর্তন। বুধবার রাত্রে এই নীলা সংকীর্তনের আনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধন করা হয়। উদ্বোধন করেন ইংলিশ বাজার পঞ্চায়েত সমিতির সভাপতি লিপিকা বর্মন ঘোষ। জানা গেছে উত্তরবঙ্গ এবং দক্ষিণবঙ্গের বিভিন্ন জেলা থেকে সুনামধন্য শিল্পীরা অংশ নিয়েছেন পাঁচ দিনব্যাপী এই লিলা সংকীর্তনে। বুধবার রাত্রে তার আনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধন করা হয়। রাধাগোবিন্দের লীলা সংকীর্তন উপলক্ষে বসেছে সুবিশাল মেলাও। জানা গেছে লিলা সংকীর্তনের রাস উৎসবে স্থানীয় বিশিষ্ট সমাজসেবী তথা তৃণমূল নেতা প্রসেনজিৎ ঘোষের উদ্যোগে এক বিশাল ভোগ বিতরণ অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়ে থাকে।
Malda: A five-day long ‘Radhagobinda Leela Sankirtan’ has begun on the banks of bhagirathi river in Mahdipur area of English Bazar in Malda. The blue sankirtan was formally inaugurated on Wednesday night. Lipika Barman Ghosh, president of English Bazar Panchayat Samiti, inaugurated the event. It is learned that renowned artists from different districts of North Bengal and South Bengal have participated in this five-day long Lila Sankirtan. It was formally inaugurated on Wednesday night. A huge fair has also been held on the occasion of Radhagovinda’s Leela Sankirtan. It is learned that a huge bhog distribution ceremony is organized at the initiative of local prominent social worker and Trinamool leader Prasenjit Ghosh at the Ras festival of Lila Sankirtan.
