গ্রিন আর্কিটেক্টস ২০২৩-এর উদ্বোধনী অধিবেশনে ‘পশ্চিমবঙ্গে বৈদ্যুতিক গতিশীলতার জন্য সময় এসেছে’ শীর্ষক একটি প্যানেল আলোচনায় বক্তব্য রাখেন পশ্চিমবঙ্গ পরিবহন কর্পোরেশনের ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক শ্রী রাজনবীর সিং কাপুর, সুইচ অন ফাউন্ডেশনের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা বিনয় জাজু এবং হুল্লাদেক রিসাইক্লিং প্রাইভেট লিমিটেডের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা, চেয়ারম্যান ও ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক শ্রী নন্দন মল।
‘জেন-জেড অ্যান্ড তাদের ফাস্ট ফ্যাশনের প্রতি আসক্তি’ শীর্ষক আরেকটি প্যানেল আলোচনার আয়োজন করা হয়। ইএসইডিএস স্কুল অফ ডিজাইনের ডিরেক্টর অলোক সিং, করোমি ক্রাফটসের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা সরিতা গানেরিওয়ালা, টুর্ল স্টোরের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা সুজাতা চ্যাটার্জি এবং গোয়াডসের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা সানাহ আগরওয়াল এই সেশনে অংশ নেন।
“ভারতের ভোক্তারা গ্রহ-বান্ধব পণ্যগুলির জন্য প্রিমিয়াম দিতে ইচ্ছুক, অন্যদিকে শহুরে ভারতীয়রা আগামী তিন বছরে গ্রহ-বান্ধব ব্র্যান্ডগুলিতে ব্যয় বাড়াবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে। ভোক্তার আগ্রহ বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে এবং জাতি টেকসই উন্নয়নের জন্য গঠনমূলক দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি গ্রহণ করছে, আগামী বছরগুলি আশাব্যঞ্জক বলে মনে হচ্ছে। গ্রিন আর্কিটেক্ট ২০২৩ এর লক্ষ্য স্টেকহোল্ডারদের একত্রিত করা এবং প্রচার করা যারা ক্রমাগত উদ্ভাবনী টেকসই এবং পরিবেশ-বান্ধব পণ্য বিকাশ করছে। এই প্রদর্শনীতে ৩৫টিরও বেশি টেকসই ব্র্যান্ডের অংশগ্রহণ পেয়ে আমরা আনন্দিত। হুলাডেক রিসাইক্লিং প্রাইভেট লিমিটেডের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা, চেয়ারম্যান ও ম্যানেজিং ডিরেক্টর নন্দন মল বলেন, “প্যানেল আলোচনায় ধারণা বিনিময় উৎসাহব্যঞ্জক ও উৎসাহব্যঞ্জক ছিল।
ভারতের নেস্ট ম্যান এবং ইকো রুটস ফাউন্ডেশনের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা রাকেশ খাত্রী অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি ছিলেন এবং তিনি ই-বর্জ্য ব্যবহার করে কীভাবে বাসা তৈরি করা যায় সে সম্পর্কে একটি সংক্ষিপ্ত কর্মশালার আয়োজন করেছিলেন। আলোচনার পরে আপসাইকেলড ফ্যাশন শোতে পুরুষ এবং মহিলা উভয়ের জন্য হাতে তৈরি পোশাকের একটি সংগ্রহ ছিল, যেমন শার্ট, পোশাক, টি-শার্ট এবং জ্যাকেট যা প্রাকৃতিক, ভেষজ-রঞ্জিত এবং প্রত্যয়িত জৈব কাপড় ব্যবহার করে তৈরি করা হয় যা যত্নসহকারে সোর্স করা হয় এবং প্রতিটি ব্যক্তির ব্যক্তিগত স্টাইল প্রকাশ করে এমন অনন্য পোশাক তৈরি করতে উত্পাদিত হয়।

Kolkata, 11th March, 2023:Hulladek Recycling, Eastern India’s fastest growing e waste management company,hosted Green Architects 2023, anexpofor sustainable future which provideda platform to various organisations which are working on changing consumer behavior towards choosing alternatives that are environment friendly.
A panel discussion was arranged at the inaugural session of Green Architects 2023 on ‘Has The Time For Electric Mobility Come In West Bengal’ that was addressed byMrRajanvir Singh Kapur, Managing Director, West Bengal Transport Corporation, Mr Vinay Jaju, Founder, Switch On Foundation andMr Nandan Mall, Founder, Chairman & Managing Director, Hulladek Recycling Pvt Ltd.
Another panel discussion was hosted on the topic, “Gen-Z And Their Obsession With Fast Fashion”. Mr Alok Singh, Director, ESEDS School of Design, Ms Sarita Ganeriwala, Founder, Karomi Crafts, Ms Sujata Chatterjee, Founder, Twirl Store &Ms Sanah Agarwal, Founder, GoaDos participated in this session.

With consumer interest on the rise and the nation taking a constructive approach towards sustainable development, the coming years look promising. Mr Rakesh Khatri, the nest man of India and Founder of Eco Roots Foundation, was the Chief Guest for the occasion and he held a short workshop on how to build a nest, using e-waste.
The discussions were followed by the Upcycled Fashion Showwhich featured a collection of handcrafted garments for both men and women, such as shirts, dresses, t-shirts and jackets which are made using natural, herbal-dyed, and certified organic fabrics that are carefully sourced and produced to create unique garments that express each individual’s personal style.
