ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ লেখক-পরিচালক সৌভিক দে’র সাসপেন্স থ্রিলার বাংলা ছবি ‘বরফি’ মুক্তি পাচ্ছে আগামী ৭ ই এপ্রিল ২০২৩ শুক্রবার। 
গত শনিবার ১৮ই মার্চ নাগেরবাজারের ডায়মন্ড প্লাজা মলে সৌভিক দে পরিচালিত সাসপেন্স থ্রিলার বাংলা ছবি ‘বরফি’র ট্রেলার ও মিউজিক লঞ্চ হয়ে গেলো।
“৬০এর পরে” ও ‘বিজয় দশমী’ নির্মাণের পর বাংলা চলচ্চিত্রের তরুণ পরিচালক সৌভিক দে এবার নিয়ে আসছেন এক নিবিড় হত্যা রহস্য “বরফি” । এমএস ফিল্মস অ্যান্ড প্রোডাকশনের ব্যানারে তৈরি প্রযোজক মীনা শেঠি মণ্ডলের সাসপেন্স থ্রিলার ছবির ট্রেলার ও মিউজিক দারুণ সাড়া পাচ্ছে। ট্রেলারটি একটি রহস্যময় সংলাপ দিয়ে শুরু হয় “তিনি 14 বছর ধরে নিখোঁজ, কলেজের পড়াশোনা শেষ করার সাথে সাথে তিনি কোথায় নিখোঁজ, জানি না বরফি আমাদের সাথে যোগাযোগ করবে কি না?”
কলকাতায় একের পর এক রহস্যময় খুনের ঘটনা নিয়েই ছবির গল্প। পুলিশের সন্দেহ একজন সিরিয়াল কিলার এই সব করছে। পুলিশ কি সিরিয়াল কিলারকে ধরতে পারবে? এটাই এই ছবির থ্রিল।আজ ছবির ট্রেলার লঞ্চে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ছবির সকল কলা কুশলী। এক সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে ছবিটির পরিচালক সৌভিক দে বলেন, এটি একটি রাজনৈতিক থ্রিলার। এটি একটি মেয়ে বরফি এবং তার ভাই সূর্যের জীবনের লড়াইকে চিত্রিত করেছে। ছবির নায়িকা একজন শিক্ষিকা, তার অতীতের গল্প রোমাঞ্চ সৃষ্টি করে।
ছবির নাম ভূমিকায় অভিনয় করেছেন অভিনেত্রী চান্দ্রেয়ী ঘোষ। তিনি জানালেন, বরফি নাম যতটা মিষ্টি, তার চরিত্রটা ততটা সরল নয়। ছবিতে এমন অনেক মর্মান্তিক ঘটনা রয়েছে যা একটি মেয়ের জীবন বদলে দেয়। এই ঘটনাগুলো দর্শকদের ভাবতে বাধ্য করবে এবং সচেতন করবে।”। অভিনেতা কমলেশ্বর মুখোপাধ্যায় জানালেন এই ছবিতে অনেক নতুন অভিনেতা অভিনেত্রী অভিনয় করেছেন। আশা করি দর্শকদের ছবিটা ভালো লাগবে।
প্রযোজক মীনা শেঠি মন্ডল বলেন যে এই ছবির গল্প যেমন উত্তেজনাপূর্ণ, এর কাস্ট তালিকাও সমান আকর্ষণীয়। চন্দ্রায়ী ঘোষ, কমলেশ্বর মুখোপাধ্যায় ছাড়াও ‘বরফি’ ছবিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ চরিত্রে অভিনয় করেছেন কৌশিক সেন, অমিত শেঠি, অরিত্র দত্ত বণিক , অনামিকা সাহা। আজ ছবির দুই সঙ্গীত শিল্পী উপস্থিত ছিলেন ও তারা গানও শোনালেন। তারা হলেন সোমলতা আচার্য্য এবং ইশান মিত্র। এখন শুধু অপেক্ষা ছবি মুক্তির জন্যে।

After making “After 60” and “Vijay Dasami”, the young Bengali film director Sauvik Dey is coming up with an intense murder mystery “Barfi”. The trailer and music of producer Meena Shetty Mondal’s suspense thriller under the banner of MS Films and Productions is getting great response. The trailer starts with a cryptic dialogue “She is missing for 14 years, where is she missing as she completes her college studies, don’t know if Barfi will contact us or not?”
The story of the film is about a series of mysterious murders in Kolkata. Police suspect a serial killer is doing all this. Can the police catch the serial killer? This is the thrill of this film. Today, all the actors of the film were present at the trailer launch. In a press conference, the film’s director Sauvik Dey said that it is a political thriller. It depicts the life struggle of a girl Barfi and her brother Surya. The heroine of the film is a teacher, the story of her past creates thrills.
Actress Chandrayi Ghosh played the title role of the film. He said, as sweet as the name Barfi is, her character is not that simple. There are many tragic incidents in the film that change the life of a girl. These events will make the audience think and be aware.” Actor Kamleswar Mukhopadhyay said that many new actors and actresses have acted in this film. Hope the audience will like the film.
Producer Meena Shetty Mondal says that as exciting as the film’s story is, its cast list is equally interesting. Besides Chandrayi Ghosh, Kamleswar Mukhopadhyay, Kaushik Sen, Amit Shetty, Aritra Dutt Vanik, Anamika Saha have played important roles in ‘Barfi’. Today two music artists of the film were present and they also played songs. They are Somlata Acharya and Ishan Mitra. Now just waiting for the release of the film.
