মালদা , ২১ মার্চ। আসন্ন পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনের আগে সমস্ত অসম্পূর্ণ উন্নয়নমূলক কাজ দ্রুত শেষ করে দেওয়া করার নির্দেশ দিলেন উত্তরবঙ্গ উন্নয়ন দপ্তরের মন্ত্রী উদয়ন গুহ। এক্ষেত্রে অর্থের কোনো সমস্যা হবে না বলেও জানিয়েছেন মন্ত্রী। কারণ, কাজ শুরুর আগেই টেন্ডার প্রক্রিয়ার সময়ই সংশ্লিষ্ট কাজের অর্থ বরাদ্দ করা হয়। সুতরাং সাধারণ মানুষের স্বার্থের কথা ভেবে উত্তরবঙ্গ উন্নয়ন দপ্তরের অধীনে যেগুলো সার্বিক উন্নয়ন কাজ চলছে, তার দ্রুত সম্পন্ন করতে হবে বলে জানিয়েছেন মন্ত্রী উদয়ন গুহ।
মঙ্গলবার দুপুরে মালদা জেলা প্রশাসনিক ভবনে উত্তরবঙ্গ উন্নয়ন দপ্তরের মন্ত্রীর উপস্থিতিতে বিভিন্ন কাজের কি অবস্থা তা নিয়েই বৈঠক করেন সংশ্লিষ্ট দপ্তরের মন্ত্রী উদয়ন গুহ। উপস্থিত ছিলেন সংশ্লিষ্ট দপ্তরের রাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী সাবিনা ইয়াসমিন, বস্ত্র দপ্তরের রাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী তাজমুল হোসেন, জেলাশাসক নীতিন সিংহানিয়া, বিধায়ক আব্দুর রহিম বক্সী সহ জেলা প্রশাসনের পদস্থ কর্তারা। এদিন জেলা প্রশাসনের কর্তাদের উপস্থিতিতে বিভিন্ন কাজের পর্যালোচনা করেন মন্ত্রী। যেসব কাজ শুরু হয়েছিল তা বর্তমানে কি অবস্থায় রয়েছে এবং সেইসব কাজের সম্পূর্ণ হওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে আরো কতদিন সময় লাগবে, মূলত সেইসব বিষয় নিয়ে এদিন বৈঠকে আলোচনা করা হয়। বিভিন্ন ধরনের উন্নয়নমূলক কাজের ক্ষেত্রে যে বাড়তি সময় দেওয়া হয়েছিল, তা কমিয়ে দ্রুততার সাথে কাজে গতি আনার নির্দেশও দিয়েছেন মন্ত্রী।
Malda, March 21. North Bengal Development Minister Udayan Guha has directed that all incomplete development works be completed at the earliest before the upcoming panchayat elections. There will be no problem with money in this regard, the minister said. Because, before the start of the work, the money for the related work is allocated during the tender process. Therefore, considering the interest of the common people, the overall development works that are going on under the North Bengal Development Department should be completed quickly, said Minister Udayan Guha.
Udayan Guha, minister of the concerned department, held a meeting at malda district administrative building on Tuesday afternoon in the presence of the Minister of North Bengal Development Department. Minister of State for Textiles Sabina Yasmin, Minister of State for Textiles Tajmul Hossain, District Magistrate Nitin Singhania, MLA Abdur Rahim Bakshi and senior officials of the district administration were present on the occasion. The minister reviewed various works in the presence of officials of the district administration. The meeting discussed the current status of the works that were started and how long it will take for them to be completed. The minister also directed to reduce the extra time given to various types of development works and speed up the work quickly.
