সুমাল্য মৈত্রের রিপোর্ট : বহু ঘটা করে কোলকাতার দিকে যাওয়ার জন্য মধ্যমগ্ৰাম চৌমাথায় গড়ে তোলা হয়েছিলো এই যাত্রী প্রতিক্ষালয়। সেখানে আজ যাত্রী এবং বাস দাঁড়ানোর পরিবর্তে ভবঘুরে এবং নেশারুদের ঠাঁই হয়েছে ঐ প্রতিক্ষালয়ে। পাশাপাশি বিভিন্ন রুটের বাসে যাত্রী ওঠানামা করে যত্রতত্র ভাবেই। প্রশ্ন করলে কোনো রুটের কন্ডাকটারই পরিস্কার করে উত্তরটাও দেয় নি। যাত্রী প্রতিক্ষালয় ঘেঁষে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে ওলা উবের। নিয়ম যাত্রী প্রতিক্ষালয় থেকে ওঠা নামার। তাকে বুড়ো আঙুল দেখিয়ে নিয়ম ভাঙার খেলায় মেতে উঠেছে সমস্ত রুটের বাস। 
Sumalya Maitra’s report: This passenger entrance was built at Madhyamgram Chauma to go to Kolkata after a lot of time. Today, instead of passengers and buses standing there, vagabonds and drug addicts have been accommodated in that fort. Besides, passengers on buses on different routes fluctuate everywhere. When asked, the conductor of any route did not give the answer by clarifying it. Ola Uber is standing next to the passenger’s door. The rule is to get up and down from the passenger compartment. All the route buses have been involved in the game of breaking the rules by showing him the thumb.
