সুমাল্য মৈত্রের রিপোর্ট : রাম নবমীর দিন দেবী পিঠ আদ্যাপিঠ কুমারী আরাধনায় মেতে উঠেছিল। প্রায় দুহাজার মেয়ে এদিন কুমারী রুপে পূজিতা হয়েছেন। প্রত্যেক বছরই রাম নবমীর দিন কুমারী আরাধনায় মেতে ওঠে দেবী পিঠ আদ্যাপিঠ। ১ থেকে ১৬ বছর বয়সের মেয়েদের কুমারী রুপে পূজিত করা হয়। এদিন কুমারী রুপে পূজিত হওয়ার পাশাপাশি বিভিন্ন বয়সের কুমারীদের নামকরণ করা হয়ে থাকে। তার মধ্যে-
১ বছরের কুমারী – সন্ধ্যা
২ বছরের কুমারী – সরস্বতী
৩ বছরের কুমারী – ত্রিধামূর্তি
৪ বছরের কুমারী – কালিকা
৫ বছরের কুমারী – সুভগা
৬ বছরের কুমারী – ঊমা
৭ বছরের কুমারী – মালিনী
৮ বছরের কুমারী – কুষ্ঠিকা
৯ বছরের কুমারী – কালসন্দর্ভা
১০ বছরের কুমারী – অপরাজিতা
১১ বছরের কুমারী – রূদ্রাণী
১২ বছরের কুমারী – ভৈরবী
১৩ বছরের কুমারী – মহালপ্তী
১৪ বছরের কুমারী – পীঠনায়িকা
১৫ বছরের কুমারী – ক্ষেত্রজ্ঞা
১৬ বছরের কুমারী – অন্নদা বা অম্বিকা
এদিন সকালে থেকে বিভিন্ন বয়সের কুমারীদের পুজোর পাশাপাশি তাদের নামকরণও করা হয়। আদ্যাপিঠ মন্দিরের অন্যতম প্রধান ব্রম্ভচারী মুরাল ভাই মহারাজ শিল্পনীড় পত্রিকার মুখোমুখি হয়ে জানালেন। দেবী পিঠ আদ্যাপিঠের মাহাত্ম্য এবং কুমারী পুজোর বর্ণনাও এদিন সংবাদ মাধ্যমের সামনে সুন্দর ভাবে তুলে ধরেন মুরাল ভাই মহারাজ, বলেন – শাস্ত্র ও পৌরাণিক কাহিনি অনুসারে , কোলাসুরকে বধ করার মধ্যে দিয়ে কুমারী পুজোর প্রচলন শুরু হয়। শোনা যায়, কোলাসুর একসময় স্বর্গ ও মর্ত্য অধিকার করায়, বিপন্ন দেবকুল মহাকালীর শরণাপন্ন হয়। দেবতাদের কাতর আবেদনে সাড়া দিয়ে দেবী পুনর্জন্মে কুমারীরূপে কোলাসুরকে বধ করেন। মনে করা হয় এই বিশ্ব ব্রহ্মণ্ডে প্রতিনিয়ত যে সৃষ্টি স্থিতি ও লয়ের কার্য প্রণালী চলছে, সেই ত্রিবিধ শক্তিই নিহিত রয়েছে কুমারীর মধ্যে। এই কুমারীই নারী জাতির প্রতীক ও বিজাবস্থা। তাই কুমারীকেই বিশ্বজননী রূপে পুজো করা হয়। অর্থাৎ এই সাধন পদ্ধতিতে কুমারীকেই দেবীজ্ঞানে পুজো করেন সাধক। সাধারণত ব্রাহ্মণ কুমারীর পুজোই সর্বত্র দেখা যায়। পাশাপাশি তিনি বলেন আদ্যাপিঠ সমস্ত ধর্মকেই সমান মর্যাদা দেয় । তিনি আরও বলেন ঈশ্বর এক ও অভিন্ন সবখানেই তার আসন পাতা। এই দেবী পিঠের মাহাত্ম্য মুগ্ধ করেছে বিভিন্ন সময়ে আসা বিদেশিদের। মাতৃ আরাধনা ছাড়াও বিভিন্ন সামাজিক কাজেও আদ্যাপিঠ সবসময়ই এগিয়ে এসেছে বলে জানান মুরাল ভাই মহারাজ । রাম নবমীর দিনভর কুমারী আরাধনায় আসলে সেই কথাই বলে মা মাগো মা/ মা গো মা আমি এলাম তোমার কাছে/ তোমার ছায়ায় তোমার মায়ার মানুষ হবো বলে। পাশাপাশি ব্রম্ভচারী মুরাল ভাই স্বামী বিবেকানন্দের উদাহরণ দিয়ে বলেন স্বামীজি বলতেন যে জাতি মাতৃ পুজোর আরাধনা করে না নিজেদের মাতৃ জাতিকে সন্মান করে না তাদের অধঃপতন নিশ্চিত। সেই ভাবনা থেকেই অন্নদা ঠাকুরের এই কুমারী পুজোর প্রচলন শুরু হয়। যা শুধু প্রবাহমান ঢেউয়ের মতোই কখনো কোনোদিনও থেমে যাওয়ার নয়।

Every year on the day of Ram Navami, Goddess Pith Adyapeeth is worshiped by Kumari. Girls aged 1 to 16 years are worshiped as virgins. On this day, besides being worshiped as virgins, girls of different ages are named. Among them- 1 Year Virgo – Evening
2 year old virgin – Saraswati
3 years virgin – Tridhamurthy
4 year old virgin – Kalika
5 years virgin – Subhga
6 years virgin – Uma
7 years virgin – Malini
8 years virgin – Kusthika
9 year old virgin – Kalasandarbha
10 years virgin – Aparajita
11 year old virgin – Rudrani
12 year old virgin – Bhairavi
13 year old virgin – Mahalapti
14-year-old virgin – teacher
15 years virgin – Kshetrajna
16 years virgin – Annada or Ambika
From this morning, virgins of different ages were worshiped as well as named. One of the chief Brambhacharis of Adyapith temple, Mural Bhai Maharaj told Shilpanid newspaper. The greatness of Devi Pith Adyapeeth and the description of Kumari Puja were also beautifully presented in front of the media on this day by Mural Bhai Maharaj, who said – According to the scriptures and mythological stories, the practice of Kumari Puja started with the killing of Kolasura. It is said that Kolasu once possessed heaven and earth, and the endangered Devakula took refuge in Mahakali. Responding to the pleading pleas of the gods, the goddess was reincarnated as a virgin and killed Kolasura. It is believed that the triple power of creation and rhythm that is constantly going on in this universe is inherent in Kumari. This virgin is the symbol of the female race and its beauty. So Kumari is worshiped as Vishwajanani. That is, in this sadhana method, the saint worships the virgin in the knowledge of the goddess. Generally the worship of Brahmin Kumari is seen everywhere. He also said that Adyapeeth gives equal status to all religions. He also says that God is one and the same and has his seat everywhere. The greatness of this Goddess Pith has impressed the foreigners who came at different times. Mural Bhai Maharaj said that apart from mother worship, Adyapith has always come forward in various social activities. On the day of Rama Navami, when the virgin worships, she says, Maa gomaa / Maa goa maa I have come to you / I will be the person of your love in your shadow. Besides, Brahmachari Mural Bhai Swami Vivekananda said Swamiji used to say that those castes which do not worship Matri Puja and do not respect their mother caste are sure to decline. Annada Tagore’s practice of this Kumari Puja started from that thought. Which is just like a flowing wave that never stops.
