ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ একাডেমী অফ ফাইন আর্টসের পশ্চিম গ্যালারিতে শুরু হলো চিত্রকর মাইকেল বোসের একক ১৯ তম চিত্র প্রদর্শনী। এই প্রদর্শনী চলবে আগামী ৬ থেকে ১৩ ই মার্চ পর্যন্ত। গত ৬ ই মার্চ সোমবার এই প্রদর্শনী উদ্বোধন করেন বিখ্যাত ভাস্কর তারক গড়াই, ছিলেন শিল্পী সুজিত কুমার ঘোষ, শিল্পী মলয় দাস, শিল্পী স্বপণ সরকার ও শিল্প সমালোচক প্রশান্ত দা। সকলেই মাইকেল বোসের এই একক প্রদর্শনী নিয়ে প্রশংশা করেন। এক সাংবাদিক সন্মেলনে মাইকেল বোস জানালেন এবারের এই প্রদর্শনীর থিম মা সরস্বতী । এই দেবীর সুখ, দুঃখ, হাসি , কান্না, জীবনের ভালো মন্দ নিয়ে তার মনের ভাব প্রকাশ করেছেন শিল্পী। শিল্পী মাইকেল অসাধারণ ছবি এঁকেছেন আক্রেলিক, মিক্সড মিডিয়া ও পাস্টেল দিয়ে। ৩৫ টি ছবি এই প্রদর্শনীতে স্থান পেয়েছে। নারী দিবস উপলক্ষে দেবীকে নিয়ে তার ভাবনা ও কল্পনার প্রকাশ ঘটিয়েছেন তার তুলির টানে।
তিনি কথা প্রসঙ্গে জানালেন সমাজে আমরা মা কালীকে দেবী রূপে পুজো করি। অথচ আজকের সমাজে যে কোনো কালো মেয়েকে বেঙ্গো করি তার গায়ের কালো রং নিয়ে। এই হলো আমাদের সমাজ ব্যাবস্থা। তাই দেবী নিয়ে আমার এই কাজ ও সমাজ ভাবনা।
The 19th painting exhibition of painter Michael Bose has begun at the West Gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts. The exhibition will run from March 6 to 13. The exhibition was inaugurated by renowned sculptor Tarak Gorai, artist Sujit Kumar Ghosh, artist Malay Das, artist Swapan Sarkar and art critic Prashanta Da. Everyone praised Michael Bose’s solo exhibition. At a press conference, Michael Bose said that the theme of this year’s exhibition is Maa Saraswati. The artist has expressed his feelings about the happiness, sorrow, laughter, tears, good and bad of life of this goddess. Artist Michael has painted amazing pictures with acrylic, mixed media and pastels. 35 photographs have been featured in the exhibition. On the occasion of Women’s Day, she expressed her thoughts and fantasies about the goddess. “In the society, we worship Goddess Kali as a goddess. But in today’s society, i make any black girl with the black color of her skin. This is our social system. So this is my work and social thinking about the goddess.
