মালদা : ভিন রাজ্যে কাজে গিয়ে মর্মান্তিক মৃত্যু হয়েছে মালদার তিন শ্রমিকের। ইতিমধ্যে কফিনবন্দি দেহ ফিরেছে গ্রামে। পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্য সরকারের ঘোষণা মত মৃতদের পরিবারের হাতে দুই লক্ষ টাকা করে ক্ষতিপূরণ তুলে দেওয়া হচ্ছে। সেইমতো মঙ্গলবার সকালে জেলা প্রশাসনিক আধিকারিক এবং রাজ্যের মন্ত্রী সাবিনা ইয়াসমিন পৌঁছে যায় ফুলবাড়িয়া অঞ্চলের নতুন নঘড়িয়া এলাকায়। দিল্লিতে শ্রমিকের কাজে গিয়ে অগ্নিদগ্ধ হয়ে মৃত্যু জাহিরুল নাদাবের পরিবারের হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হয় ২ লক্ষ টাকার চেক। মন্ত্রী সাবিনা ইয়াসমিন ছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন জেলাশাসক নীতির সিংহানিয়া, পুলিশ সুপার প্রদীপ কুমার যাদব, ব্লক আধিকারিক সৌগত চৌধুরী, মালদা জেলা পরিষদের কর্মাধ্যক্ষ প্রতিভা সিংহ, ফুলবাড়িয়া অঞ্চলের চেয়ারম্যান তথা পঞ্চায়েত প্রধানের স্বামী জাইদুল শেখ সহ অন্যান্য জনপ্রতিনিধি এবং প্রশাসনিক আধিকারিকরা। এই বিষয়ে মন্ত্রী সাবিনা ইয়াসমিন জানান, ভিন রাজ্যে কাজে গিয়ে মৃত মালদার শ্রমিকদের পাশে রয়েছে রাজ্য সরকার। সেই মতো এদিন মৃতদের পরিবারের হাতে দুই লক্ষ টাকা করে চেক তুলে দেওয়া হল। এছাড়াও আমরা সব সময় তাদের পাশে রয়েছি। যদিও দিল্লির এই ঘটনা খুব মর্মাহত। মৃত শ্রমিকদের আত্মার শান্তি কামনা করি আমরা। এই বিষয়ে স্থানীয় গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের প্রধানের স্বামী তথা অঞ্চল চেয়ারম্যান জাইদুল শেখ জানান, তৃণমূল নেত্রী তথা মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় জনদরদী। তিনি সর্বত্র মানুষের পাশে থেকে কাজ করেন। দিল্লিতে কাজে গিয়ে আমাদের অঞ্চলের এক শ্রমিকের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। রাজ্য সরকারের নির্দেশ মত মন্ত্রী সাবিনা ইয়াসমিনের উপস্থিতিতে এবং অন্যান্য প্রশাসনিক আধিকারিকরা উপস্থিত থেকে মৃত শ্রমিকের পরিবারের হাতে আজ ২ লক্ষ টাকার চেক তুলে দেওয়া হল। আগামীতে গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের পক্ষ থেকে যতটা সম্ভব মৃত ওই শ্রমিকের পরিবারের পাশে থাকার আশ্বাস দিয়েছেন ফুলবাড়িয়া গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের প্রধানের স্বামী জাইদুল শেখ। তার পাশাপাশি তিনি আরো জানান সামনেই খুশির ঈদ। ঈদ উৎসবে মৃত ওই শ্রমিকের পরিবার যাতে সামিল হতে পারেন তার সমস্ত ধরনের ব্যবস্থা করা হবে।

In this regard, Minister Sabina Yasmin said that the state government stands by the workers of Malda who died while working in other states. Similarly, a check of two lakh rupees was handed over to the family of the deceased on this day. Also we are always by their side. Although this incident in Delhi is very shocking. We pray for the peace of the souls of the deceased workers. Zaidul Sheikh, the husband of the local village panchayat head and regional chairman, said that Trinamool leader and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is sympathetic. He works alongside people everywhere. A laborer from our region died while going to work in Delhi. As directed by the state government, a check of Rs 2 lakh was handed over to the family of the deceased worker in the presence of Minister Sabina Yasmin and other administrative officials. Zaidul Sheikh, the husband of Fulbaria village panchayat head, has assured that the village panchayat will stand by the family of the deceased worker as much as possible. Apart from that, he also said that happy Eid is ahead. All arrangements will be made so that the family of the deceased worker can participate in the Eid festival.
