ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ পয়লা বৈশাখের আগে ৭ এপ্রিল মুক্তি পেতে চলেছে রাজনৈতিক থ্রিলারধর্মী ছবি- ‘বরফি’ । সৌভিক দে পরিচালিত এই ছবিতে অভিনয় করেছেন টলিপাড়ার একঝাঁক চেনা মুখ। এম.এস.ফিল্মস অ্যান্ড প্রোডাকশনের ব্যানারে মীনা শেঠি মণ্ডলের প্রযোজনায় ছবি ‘বরফি’। অভিনয় করেছেন কৌশিক সেন, গুলশন পাণ্ডে, অভিজিৎ গুহ, চান্দ্রেয়ী ঘোষ, কমলেশ্বর মুখোপাধ্যায়, অনামিকা সাহা, অমিত শেট্টি, পিয়ালি চক্রবর্তী, অরিত্র দত্ত বণিক সহ অন্যান্যরা। ছবির গল্প লিখেছেন সায়ন রয়্যান ও সৌভিক দে। গল্প লেখা ও পরিচালনার পাশাপাশি চিত্রনাট্য ও সংলাপ লেখার গুরু দায়িত্বও পালন করেছেন সৌভিক নিজেই। এছাড়া সিনেমাটোগ্রাফি করেছেন অর্ণব গুহ।
‘বরফি’-র গল্প ঠিক কেমন? শহরে একের পর এক মন্ত্রী খুন হচ্ছেন। পুলিশ, গণমাধ্যম, সাধারণ মানুষ, সকলের মাথায় ঘুরছে একটাই প্রশ্ন, কে বা কারা খুন করছে? তাদের উদ্দেশ্য কী? অন্যদিকে দেখা যাচ্ছে, বরফি তার ভাই সূর্য এবং ভাইয়ের বান্ধবী শ্যামলী এদের মধ্যে একটা অদ্ভুত সম্পর্ক। বরফি কোনও ভাবেই সম্পর্কে মেনে নিতে পারছে না। পুলিশ এই তদন্তভার সমর্পণ করে পূর্বতন হেভিওয়েট অফিসার মহেন্দ্র ও তার সহকারী লঙ্কার হাতে।
এক দিকে থেকে বরফি- সূর্য এবং সূর্যের প্রেমিকার মধ্যে একটা ত্রিকোণ সম্পর্ক।অন্যদিকে লক্কা এবং মহেন্দ্রর তদন্ত সমান্তরাল ভাবে এগোতে থাকে। একের পর খুনের ঘটনাও ঘটতে থাকে। বরফি কি ভাইয়ের প্রেমিকার সম্পর্কটা মেনে নিতে পারবে? মহেন্দ্র কি রহস্যর সমাধান করে, খুঁজে বের করতে পারবে আসল খুনিকে? এই সব প্রশ্নের উত্তর মিলবে ছবিতে। এর আগে ’60-এর পরে’র ছবি পরিচালনা করেছেন সৌভিক দে। সেখানেও অমিত শেট্টি অভিনয় করেছেন কেন্দ্রীয় চরিত্রে।
