সুমাল্য মৈত্রের রিপোর্ট ; সৌভিকদের পরিচালনায় দেখে এলাম বরফি সিনেমার প্রিমিয়ার শো। স্ক্রিপ্ট যথেষ্টই দূর্বল সেট ছবি দেখলে ভালই মালুম হচ্ছে । তবে কিছু কিছু জায়গায় ভালো বলতেই হবে যেমন অভিনেতা অভিনেত্রী ও সম্পূর্ণ কাজটার সাথে যুক্ত সবার নামের পেছনে বেশ চমৎকার অলংকার করা হয়েছে এটা একটা ব্যাতিক্রম দিখ। সম্পূর্ণ কয়েকজন তরুণদের হাত ধরে তৈরি হয়েছে এই বরফি। বিশেষ করে পেশাদার অভিনেতা পরিচালক কমলেশ্বর মুখোপাধ্যায় / অভিজিৎ গুহ / কৌশিক সেন / অনামিকা সাহা এবং চান্দ্রেয়ী মুখোপাধ্যায় নিজেকে উজাড় করে দিয়েছেন । আলাদা করে বলতেই হবে চিরাচরিত খল নায়িকা চরিত্রে অভিনয় করা অনামিকা সাহার কথা। প্রিমিয়ারে অনুপস্থিত থাকলেও তিনি ভীষন ভাবেই ছিলেন আমাদের মধ্যে। খল চরিত্রে বিশেষ করে বিন্দু মাসীর চরিত্রে অনামিকা সাহা ছাড়া আর কারুর কথাই ভাবা যায় না। এছাড়াও কমলেশ্বর মুখোপাধ্যায় অভিজিৎ গুহ কৌশিক সেন তারা চাহুনি দিয়েই অভিনয়কে ফুটিয়ে তুলেছেন সম্পুর্ণ নেগেটিভ চরিত্রে অভিনয় করেও তাদের চরিত্র একটা বর্তমান রাজনৈতিক প্রেক্ষাপটের কথাই মনে করিয়ে দেয় । এছাড়াও চান্দ্রেয়ীর চরিত্রটাও একটা পরিবর্তনশীল চরিত্র । প্রথমে একটা স্কুলের প্রধান শিক্ষিকা পরবর্তী সময়ে তিনিই তার আপন ভাইয়ের শত্রু হয়ে ওঠেন সমাজের কতোগুলো প্রভাবশালী লোকদের ক্ষেপিয়ে তুলে। তবে মুম্বাই থেকে কয়েকজন এই সিনেমায় কাজ করলেও একেবারেই দাগ কেটে যাওয়ার মতো নয় তাদের অভিনয়। এখানেই পরিচালকের অভিজ্ঞতার অভাব । আমার মনে হয় সেই জায়গায় টালিগঞ্জের কয়েকজনকে দিয়ে কাজ করালে চরিত্রগুলো আরও ঘরের চরিত্র হয়ে উঠতো। এক তরুণ পরিচালকের এই মুম্বাই থেকে অভিনেতা কাস্টিং করা যে কি কারণে গোটা ছবিতে সেটাই বোধগম্য হলো না । তবে আগামী দিনে হয়তো আরও নতুন কাজ ভিন্ন রূপে দেখতে পাবো এই তরুণ প্রজন্মের পরিচালকের কাছ থেকে এই প্রত্যাশা করাই যায়। একটা চেষ্টা হয়েছে ব্যাস এটাই বলা যায়।বরফি ততোটা মিষ্ট নয় যতোটা সিনেমার টাইটেলে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে।
Sumalya Maitra’s report; I came to see the premiere show of the movie Barfi directed by Sauvik. The script is quite weak which is evident from the set picture. But in some places it must be said that the names of the actors and actresses and all those associated with the entire work have been decorated beautifully. This is an exception. This barfi is made entirely by the hands of some young people. Especially professional actors director Kamleswar Mukhopadhyay / Abhijit Guha / Kaushik Sen / Anamika Saha and Chandrayi Mukhopadhyay have outdone themselves. Anamika Saha, who played the role of a traditional villain, must be mentioned separately. Even though he was absent from the premiere, he was very much with us. Can’t think of anyone other than Anamika Saha as Khal, especially Bindu Masi. Also Kamleswar Mukhopadhyay Abhijit Guha Kaushik Sen Tara Chahuni has brought out the performance by playing completely negative characters but their character is reminiscent of a current political context. Also Chandreyi’s character is a changing character. First a headmistress of a school, later she becomes her own brother’s enemy, angering some influential people in the society. However, even though some people from Mumbai worked in this movie, their performance is not like that. This is where the director lacks experience. I think if some people from Tollygunge were used in that place, the characters would have become more home characters. Why did a young director cast actors from this Mumbai in the whole film did not make sense. But in the coming days, we may see more new works in a different form. This is expected from the director of the young generation. An attempt has been made. Barfi is not as sweet as used in the title of the movie.
