সুমাল্য মৈত্রের রিপোর্টঃ নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় দ্রব্যাদি আনার ক্ষেত্রে ছোটো ট্রাক বা বড়ো ট্রাকের জুড়ি মেলা ভার। পশ্চিমবঙ্গের যে কোনো বাজার হাটে কাঁচা সবজির পাশাপাশি বালি পাথর সিমেন্টের বস্তা এই সব নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় দ্রব্যাদি আনার জন্য সাধারণ মানুষের কাছে আজও ভরসা জোগায় বড়ো ট্রাক বা ছোটো ট্রাক। বিনিদ্র রাত জেগে কাজ করেন ছোটো বড়ো ট্রাকের চালকরা । সাধারণ মানুষের কাছে খুব সহজেই পরিষেবা পৌঁছে দিতে আজও অনেকেরই ভরসার জায়গায় আছে এই গাড়ি ।অনেক ঝড় বৃষ্টি উপেক্ষা করে তারা তাদের কাজে অবিচল থাকেন। শুধু কি সবজি বালি পাথর সিমেন্ট পাশাপাশি বিভিন্ন সরকারী ও বেসরকারী হাসপাতাল ও নার্সিংহোমেও চিকিৎসার জন্য ওসুধ পৌঁছে দেয় এইসব গাড়িই। প্রকৃত অর্থেই মানুষের বন্ধু হিসেবে পাশে থাকে ছোটো বড়ো ট্রাক। বুধবার পাঁচই এপ্রিল দু হাজার তেইশ ঐতিহ্য মন্ডিত মহাজাতি সদনের প্রেক্ষাগৃহে এদিন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়ে গেলো ফেডারেশন অফ ওয়েস্ট বেঙ্গল ট্রাক অপারেটর এসোসিয়েশনের সপ্তম রাজ্য সম্মেলন।এদিন সম্মেলনের উদ্বোধন করেন অল ইন্ডিয়া মটর ট্রান্সপোর্ট কংগ্রেসের প্রেসিডেন্ট শ্রী অমৃতলাল মদন। এছাড়াও অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্য সরকারের পরিবহন মন্ত্রী স্নেহাশীষ চক্রবর্তী সহ বিভিন্ন জেলার ট্রাক সংঘটনের প্রতিনিধি বৃন্দ। আজকের সপ্তম রাজ্য সম্মেলনের মূল দাবি ছিলো সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে । বিভিন্ন জেলা থেকে আগত ট্রাক সংগঠনের প্রতিনিধিরা এক প্রকার ক্ষোভ প্রকাশ করেন রাজ্য সরকারের পরিবহন দপ্তরের বিরুদ্ধে । আগত প্রতিনিধিদের একটাই কথা আগামী দিনে মালিকরা থাকবে ট্রাক থাকবে কিন্তু কজন চালাবে সেই বিষয়ে যথেষ্টই সন্দেহ থেকে যায়। অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত পরিবহন মন্ত্রী স্নেহাশীষ চক্রবর্তী তার বক্তব্যে বলেন বিভিন্ন আধুনিক মেশিন আসছে আগামী দিনে ট্রাক মালিক ও চালকদের জন্য । বর্তমানে সেই মেশিন পরীক্ষার স্তরে আছে আছে বলে জানান পরিবহন মন্ত্রী । এছাড়াও তিনি উপস্থিত বিভিন্ন ট্রাক সংগঠনের মালিক চালক ও প্রতিনিধিদের দাবী দাওয়া শোনেন এবং আগামী দিনে যতোটা সম্ভব পুরোন করা হবে বলেও আশ্বাস দেন পরিবহন মন্ত্রী । পাশাপাশি ওভারলোড যাতে না হয় এবং বিভিন্ন গাড়িকে ভবিষ্যতে আর যাতে ফাইন করতে না হয় এবং একপ্রকার ফাইনকে শূন্যের পর্যায় নামিয়ে আনার আশ্বাস দেন পরিবহন মন্ত্রী । আজকের অনুষ্ঠানে বিভিন্ন জেলা থেকে আগত ট্রাক সংগঠনের অতিথি এবং বিভিন্ন কম্পানিকে যারা এই অনুষ্ঠানে সাহায্য করেছেন তাদের সন্মানিত করা হয় । আগামী দিনে এই সংগঠনের পথ চলা কতোদিন মসৃণ হয় এখন সেটাই দেখার ।
Sumalya Maitra’s report: Small truck or big truck pairs fair load in bringing daily necessities. In any market of West Bengal, big trucks or small trucks are still trusted to bring all these daily necessities like raw vegetables as well as sacks of sand, stone and cement. The drivers of small and big trucks work night and day. This vehicle is still trusted by many people to easily deliver services to the common people. Ignoring many storms and rains, they remain steadfast in their work. Apart from vegetables, sand, stone, cement, these vehicles also deliver medicines to various public and private hospitals and nursing homes. In real sense, small and big trucks are next to people as friends. The seventh state conference of the Federation of West Bengal Truck Operators Association was held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at the Mahajati Sadan auditorium. The conference was inaugurated by Shri Amritlal Madan, President of All India Motor Transport Congress. Also present on the occasion were West Bengal State Government Transport Minister Snehashish Chakraborty and representatives of various district truck associations. The main demand of today’s seventh state conference was against the government. Representatives of truck organizations from different districts expressed their anger against the state government’s transport department. The only word from the incoming representatives is that in the coming days the owners will have the trucks but there is considerable doubt as to who will drive them. Transport Minister Snehashish Chakraborty, who was present at the event, said in his speech that various modern machines are coming in the coming days for truck owners and drivers. The transport minister said that the machine is currently at the test stage. He also listened to the demands of the owners, drivers and representatives of the various truck associations present and assured that as many improvements as possible will be made in the coming days. Besides, the Minister of Transport assured that there would be no overloading and that various vehicles would not have to be fined in the future and that one type of fine would be brought down to zero level. In today’s program, guests of truck organizations from different districts and various companies who helped in this event were honored. Now let’s see how smooth the path of this organization will be in the coming days.
