মৃন্ময় রায়, মেখলিগঞ্জ, ৫ এপ্রিলঃ ধর্নাপুরী নামে পরিচিত ধূপগুড়ির যুবতী এবার ধর্নায় বসলো চ্যাংড়াবান্ধায়। বিয়ের দাবিতে এক যুবতীর ধর্নায় বসার ঘটনাকে কেন্দ্র করে মঙ্গলবার থেকে ব্যাপক চাঞ্চল্য ছড়িয়েছে মেখলিগঞ্জ ব্লকের চ্যাংরাবান্ধা গ্রামপঞ্চায়েতের দেবীকলোনি এলাকায়। বুধবারেও ধর্নায় অনড় যুবতী। অপর দিকে বাড়ি থেকে বেপাত্তা গুনধর প্রেমিক। জানা যায়, ধর্নায় বসা ওই যুবতীর নাম প্রেয়সী বসাক ( আসল নাম নয়)। সে ধুপগুড়ি শহরের বাসিন্দা। বুধবার দুপুর অবধি তার ধর্না অব্যাহত থাকলেও দাবি পুরণ হয়নি।তবে ওই যুবতীর পরিবারের তরফে ধুপগুড়ি থানায় লিখিত অভিযোগ জানানো হবে বলে জানানো হয়েছে। যুবতী জানায় চ্যাংড়াবান্ধার দেবীকলোনি এলাকার সুব্রত বৈরাগী নামে এক যুবকের সাথে তার দীর্ঘ দিনের প্রেমের সম্পর্ক। এর যথেষ্ট প্রমাণও রয়েছে তার কাছে।এরই মধ্যে সুব্রত ফোনে সাফ জানিয়ে দেয় সে বিয়ে করতে পরবেনা। তাই সে সুব্রতকে স্বামী হিসেবে পেতে ধর্নায় বসেছেন। যতদিন না বিয়ের দাবি পুরণ হবে ততদিন সে ধর্না চালিয়ে যাবেন।
Mrinmoy Rai, Mekhligonj, April 5: A young woman from Dhupguri, known as Dharnapuri, sat on dharna at Changrabandha. The incident of a young woman sitting on dharna demanding marriage has created a lot of excitement since Tuesday in Devi Colony area of Changrabandha Gram Panchayat of Mekhliganj block. Stubborn young woman protested on Wednesday. On the other hand, the lover from the house is the bepatta gundhar. It is known that the name of the young woman sitting on the sit-in is Preyasi Basak (not her real name). He is a resident of Dhupguri city. Although her sit-in continued till noon on Wednesday, her demands were not fulfilled. However, it has been informed that a written complaint will be submitted to Dhupaguri police station on behalf of the young woman’s family. The young woman revealed her long-time love affair with a young man named Subrata Bairagi of Devi Colony area of Changrabandha. He has enough evidence of this. In the meantime, Subrata clarified on the phone that he will not get married. So she sat on dharna to get Subrata as her husband. He will continue the sit-in until the marriage demands are met.
