মোহাম্মদ জাকারিয়াঃ উত্তর দিনাজপুর মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের হাত ধরে শুরু হয় পথশ্রী-রাস্তাশ্রী প্রকল্প। পঞ্চায়েত ভোটের আগে গ্রামীণ এলাকায় নতুন রাস্তা নির্মাণ এবং মেরামতের জন্য এই প্রকল্প চালু করা হয়েছে। নতুন রাস্তার নির্মাণ, পুননির্মাণ ও রক্ষনাবেক্ষণের কাজের উদ্বোধন হলো পথশ্রী-রাস্তাশ্রী প্রকল্পের আওতায়।
তৃণমূল সূত্রে জানা যায় মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের অনুপ্রেরণার ও করণদিঘীর বিধায়ক গৌতম পাল এর উদ্যোগে করণদিঘীর দোমোহনা গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের মাদারগাছি মোড় থেকে তেলগাডাঙ্গী পর্যন্ত রাস্তা নির্মাণ কাজের শুভ সূচনা হয় শুক্রবার। মোট ব্যয় ১ কোটি ৩১ লাখ ৩২ হাজার টাকা। এই রাস্তাটি স্থানীয় বাসিন্দাদের দীর্ঘদিনের দাবি ছিল বলে জানা যায়।

According to Trinamool sources, with the inspiration of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the initiative of Karandighi MLA Gautam Pal, the construction of the road from Madargachi intersection to Telgadangi in Domohana Gram Panchayat of Karandighi started auspiciously on Friday. The total cost is 1 crore 31 lakh 32 thousand taka. It is said that this road has been a demand of local residents for a long time.
