মোহাম্মদ জাকারিয়াঃ উত্তর দিনাজপুরঃ মর্মান্তিক পথ দুর্ঘটনায় মৃত্যু মৃত এক গুরুতর জখম দুই। সোমবার দুপুরে ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলার গোয়ালপোখর থানার ঠিকরিবাড়ি এলাকায় রাজ্য সড়কের উপর। মৃত ওই কিশোরের নাম সাহাবাজ আলম (১৫) বাড়ি গোয়ালপোখরের টেগেরিয়া এলাকায়। ঘটনায় গুরুতর জখম হয় দানিশ আলম, হাশাবুল নামে আরও দুইজন। পরিবার সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে এদিন তিনজন একটি বাইকে করে বাড়ি থেকে কোনও কাজে যাওয়ার সময় গোয়ালপোখর থানার ঠিকরি বাড়ি এলাকায় রাজ্য সড়কের উপর কোনও একটি গাড়ির ধাক্কায় গুরুতর জখম হয় বাইকে থাকা তিনজন। তড়িঘড়ি স্হানীয় বাসিন্দা ওই তিনজনকে উদ্ধার করে। খবর পেয়ে ঘটনাস্থলে পৌছায় পরিবারের সদস্যরা। পরিবারের তিনজনকেই গুরুত্বর জখম অবস্থায় উদ্ধার করে ইসলামপুর মহকুমা হাসপাতালে নিয়ে আসা হয় চিকিৎসার জন্য। ইসলামপুর মহকুমা হাসপাতালে কিছুক্ষণ চিকিৎসা চলাকালীন সাহাবাজ আলম নামে এক কিশোরের মৃত্যু হয়। বাকি দুই জনের মধ্যে একজনের অবস্থা আশঙ্কাজনক থাকায় তাকে শিলিগুড়ি উত্তরবঙ্গ মেডিক্যাল রেফার করে ইসলামপুর মহকুমা হাসপাতালের কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসকরা। বাকি একজন ইসলামপুর মহকুমা হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন রয়েছে। পুলিশ মৃতদেহটি ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য ইসলামপুর পুলিশ মর্গে পাঠিয়েছে। ঘটনার তদন্ত শুরু করেছে গোয়ালপোখর থানার পুলিশ।
Mohammad Zakaria: North Dinajpur: One dead, two seriously injured in tragic road accident. The incident took place on Monday afternoon on the state highway in Takribari area of Goalpokhar police station in Uttar Dinajpur district. The name of the deceased teenager is Sahabaz Alam (15) from Tegeria area of Gowalpokhar. Danish Alam and two others named Hashabul were seriously injured in the incident. According to family sources, three people on a bike were seriously injured when they were hit by a car on the state highway in Dektri Bari area of Goalpokhar police station. Local residents quickly rescued the three. The family members reached the spot after receiving the news. All three members of the family were rescued and brought to Islampur sub-district hospital for treatment. A teenager named Sahabaz Alam died while undergoing treatment at Islampur sub-district hospital. As the condition of one of the remaining two people is critical, he was referred to Siliguri North Bengal Medical Center by the doctors on duty at Islampur sub-district hospital. The other one is under treatment at Islampur sub-district hospital. The police sent the dead body to Islampur police morgue for post-mortem. Goalpokhar police started investigating the incident.
