তিরিশ বছর পূর্ণ হলো। সেই সঙ্গে ২২ নম্বর ক্যামাক স্ট্রীটের ২০১৩ সালের পুরনো দোকান (১০ বছরের) নতুন করে সেজে উঠলো। আজ এই মালাবার গোল্ড এন্ড ডায়মন্ডের নতুন করে সেজে ওঠা ১৫০০ স্কোয়ার ফুটের এই শোরুমে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশ্ববিখ্যাত জাদুকর পি সি সরকার জুনিয়র, তার সহধর্মিণী জয়শ্রী সরকার ও অভিনেত্রী ও কবি মৌবনী সরকার। তারা সকলেই এই নতুন শোরুম দেখে খুব আনন্দিত। সকলেই বললেন ভবিষ্যতে তারা এই দোকান থেকে কেনাকাটা করবেন সোনা বা ডায়মন্ড। এক সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে এই দোকানের ম্যানেজিং ডিরেক্টর প্রদ্যুৎ সরকার জানালেন আমাদের এই মালাবারের শোরুম আজ ১০ বছর পূর্ণ হলো। সেই উপলক্ষে এই এপ্রিল মাসে বিশেষ করে বৈশাখ মাসে সব আইটেমের ওপর বিশেষ ছাড় থাকছে ও মেকিং চার্জ ও কম থাকছে। আমাদের এই মালাবার কোম্পানির ৩০ বছর উপলক্ষে কেউ যদি ৩০ হাজার টাকার ওপর কেনাকাটা করেন তাহলে তিনি পাবেন ১০০ মিলি গ্রাম এর গোল্ড কয়েন। আমাদের এই দোকান রোজ খোলা থাকে। সকাল ১১ টা থেকে রাত ৮’৩০ পর্যন্ত দোকান ক্রেতাদের জন্যে উন্মুক্ত থাকে সবসময়। আজ এই সন্মেলনে উপস্থিত ছিলেন মালাবারের টিম মেম্বার তাহসিল আহমেদ, রিজিওনাল হেড পিনাকী চক্রবর্তী, সহ মার্কেটিং ম্যানেজার মোঃ জামিল সবমিলিয়ে নতুন সাজে সেজে উটেছে ক্যামাক স্ট্রীটের এই মালাবার গোল্ড এন্ড ডায়মন্ডের ১০ বছরের পুরনো এই শোরুম।
