মালদাঃ কালিয়াগঞ্জ, কালিয়াচকের পর এবার মালদার গাজল, টানা ১০ দিন ধরে নিখোঁজ উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষার্থী। বাড়ি থেকে ওই ছাত্রীকে অপহরণ করে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়েছে বলে অভিযোগ। বারবার গজল থানায় অভিযোগ জানালেও কোন লাভ হচ্ছে না। অসহায় হয়ে পড়ে আছে পরিবার। তাদের আশঙ্কা কালিয়াগঞ্জ বা কালিয়াচকে দুই নাবালিকার সাথে যে ঘটনা ঘটেছে এই পরিস্থিতির শিকার হতে না হয় ওই ছাত্রীকে। গোটা বিষয়কে নিয়ে ক্ষোভ প্রকাশ করেছেন উত্তর মালদার বিজেপি সাংসদ খগেন মুর্মু। পুলিশের ভূমিকা নিয়ে প্রশ্ন তুলেছেন তিনি। পুলিশের ভূমিকা নিয়ে ক্ষোভ প্রকাশ করেছেন আদিবাসী সংগঠনের নেতারা তৃণমূলের রাজ্য কমিটির সহ-সভাপতি কৃষ্ণেন্দু নারায়ণ চৌধুরী বলেন পুলিশ যদি কাজ না করে উচ্চতর কর্তৃপক্ষ দেখবে। আমরা গোটা বিষয়টা মানবিকতার সাথে দেখছি।।
