গোপাল বিশ্বাস , নদীয়া :- ঘরের ভেতর থেকে এক বৃদ্ধার চোখবিহীন দেহ উদ্ধারের ঘটনায় তীব্র চাঞ্চলের সৃষ্টি হল নদিয়ার হাঁসখালি থানার মামজোয়ান গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের জয়নারায়নপুর গ্রামে। মৃতবৃদ্ধার নাম বাসনা সরকার। বয়স আনুমানিক ৭২ বছর। স্থানীয় ও পরিবার সূত্রে জানা গেছে, ওই বৃদ্ধা বেশ কিছুদিন যাবত অসুস্থ ছিলেন এর সাথে কিছুটা মানসিক ভারসাম্যহীন ও ছিলেন তিনি। অভিযোগ, মঙ্গলবার সকালে বৃদ্ধা নিজের ঘর থেকে না বেরোনোই প্রতিবেশীরা ঘরের মধ্যে জান । প্রতিবেশীরা দেখেন ঘরের মধ্যে মেজেই পড়ে রয়েছে ওই বৃদ্ধার মৃতদেহ । মৃতদেহ সরাতেই চক্ষু চড়ক গাছ স্থানীয়দের । মৃতদেহ থাকলেও দুই চোখ বিহীন অবস্থায় মাটিতে মৃতদেহ পড়ে থাকতে দেখে স্থানীয়দের সন্দেহ খুন করা হয়েছে ওই বৃদ্ধাকে । হাঁসখালি থানায় খবর দেওয়া হয় । হাঁসখালি থানায় পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছায় । মৃতদেহটি উদ্ধার করে নিয়ে আসে হাসখালি থানায় । পরিবার সূত্রে জানা গেছে ওই বৃদ্ধার নাম বাসনা সরকার ৬২ । স্থানীয় ওরা মনে করছেন খুন করার পর তাঁর চোখ দুটি উপরে তুলে নিয়ে গিয়েছে দুষ্মৃতিরা বলে অভিযোগ বৃদ্ধার পরিবারের। খবর পেয়ে ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছায় হাঁসখালি থানার পুলিশ। মৃতদেহটি উদ্ধার করে নিয়ে যাওয়ার পাশাপাশি মৃত্যুর সঠিক কারণ জানতে তদন্ত শুরু করেছে পুলিশ।
Gopal Biswas, Nadia :- An eyeless body of an old woman was recovered from inside the house, causing a lot of panic in Jainarayanpur village of Mamjoan village panchayat of Hanskhali police station in Nadia. The dead man’s name is Basana Sarkar. Age approximately 72 years. According to local and family sources, the old woman was ill for quite some time and she was somewhat mentally unbalanced. Allegedly, on Tuesday morning, the old lady did not come out of her house, but the neighbors knew her inside the house. Neighbors saw the dead body of the old lady lying on the table in the house. The dead bodies are being removed from the eyes of the local people. Even though there was a dead body, the locals suspected that the old woman had been killed after seeing the dead body lying on the ground without two eyes. Information was given to Hanskhali police station. Police reached the spot at Hanskhali police station. The dead body was recovered and brought to Haskhali police station. According to family sources, the old woman’s name is Basana Sarkar 62. The old woman’s family alleged that the locals believe that after killing her, the miscreants took out her eyes. After receiving the information, the police of Hanskhali police station reached the spot. Besides recovering the dead body, the police have started an investigation to find out the exact cause of death.
