দীপ মিস্ত্রী, মায়াপুর, মঙ্গলবার,২০শে জুন, ২০২৩,রথযাত্রা উপলক্ষে অগণিত জনসমাগমে মুখরিত হয়ে উঠলো এই বাংলার শ্রীক্ষেত্র নদিয়ার মায়াপুরের ইসকন মন্দির চত্বর। প্রসঙ্গত ইসকন মন্দির থেকে পাঁচ কিলোমিটার দূরে রাজাপুরের প্রশান্তপল্লীতে জগন্নাথ মন্দির অবস্থিত। সেখান থেকে এদিন বিকেলে তিনটি রথ যথাক্রমে জগন্নাথ, বলভদ্র ও সুভদ্রাকে নিয়ে পাড়ি দেয় অস্থায়ী মাসির বাড়ি ইসকন চন্দ্রোদয় মন্দিরে। এখানে নয়দিন থাকার পর বিগ্রহত্ৰয় পুনরায় ফিরে যাবেন রাজাপুরের মন্দিরে। এই উপলক্ষে ভোগের আয়োজন ,দীপদান পাঠ, সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান ছিল দেখার মতো। প্রসঙ্গত রথযাত্রায় এবছর শ্রীক্ষেত্র পুরিধাম থেকে এবার জগন্নাথ দেব ও সুভদ্রা মহারানীর রথের চাকা আনা হয়েছে মায়াপুরে যা ছিল এবারের অন্যতম আকর্ষণ। সর্বসাধারণের দর্শনের জন্য রাখাও হয়েছিল তা। এবার রথ যাত্রার সূচনায় বহু বিশিষ্টজনের মধ্যে উপস্থিত ছিলেন রাজ্যের মন্ত্রী উজ্জ্বল বিশ্বাস, নদীয়ার জেলাশাসক শশাঙ্ক শেঠি,পুলিশ সুপার ঈশানি পাল, অতিরিক্ত জেলাশাসক এস.ভি পাতিল ও আর.পি মিনা,ইসকন মন্দিরের গুরু সন্ন্যাসী গৌরাঙ্গ প্রেম স্বামী প্রমুখ। প্রায় সহস্রাধিক ভক্তবৃন্দের সমাগমের ঢল এদিনকে দেখা গেল। এছাড়াও রথের শোভাযাত্রায় মানুষের আবেগ শোভাযাত্রাকে যারপরনাই বর্ণাঢ্য ও প্রাণবন্ত করে তুলেছিল। বলা বাহুল্য বাংলার অন্যতম সেরা আকর্ষণ ছিল এবারের ইসকনের রথযাত্রা উৎসব যা আক্ষরিক অর্থেই হয়ে উঠেছিল মহামানবের মিলন তীর্থ।
Deep Mistry, Mayapur, Tuesday, June 20, 2023, the ISKCON temple premises of Srikshetra Nadia, Mayapur, Bengal, was bustling with countless people on the occasion of Rath Yatra. Incidentally, the Jagannath temple is located in Prashantpalli, Rajapur, five kilometers away from the ISKCON temple. From there in the afternoon three chariots carrying Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra respectively passed to the temporary aunt’s house at ISKCON Chandrodaya temple. After staying here for nine days, Vigrahatraya will again return to the Rajapur temple. On this occasion, entertainment, lamp reading, and cultural programs were worth seeing. Incidentally, the chariot wheels of Jagannath Dev and Subhadra Maharani were brought to Mayapur from Srikshetra Puridham this year, which was one of the attractions this year. It was also kept for public viewing. This time at the start of the Rath Yatra, State Minister Ujjwal Biswas, District Magistrate of Nadia, Shashank Shetty, Superintendent of Police Ishani Pal, Additional District Magistrates SV Patil and RP Meena, ISKCON temple Guru Sannyasi Gauranga Prem Swami, and others were present at the start of the Rath Yatra. A gathering of thousands of devotees was seen on this day. Also, the passion of the people in the chariot procession made the procession colorful and vibrant. Needless to say, one of the best attractions of Bengal was this year’s ISKCON’s Rath Yatra festival which literally became the meeting place of the great man.
