সুমিত ঘোষ, মালদা: বুধবার গভীর রাত পর্যন্ত তৃণমূলের দুই গোষ্ঠীর সংঘর্ষে উত্তপ্ত মালদা। রাতভর চলল ব্যাপক বোমাবাজি। পুড়িয়ে দেওয়া হয় দুটি বাড়ি, দোকান। আরও বেশ কয়েকটি বাড়িতে ভাঙচুর চালানো হয়। চলে অবাধে লুঠপাটও। আতঙ্কিত হয়ে পড়েছেন এলাকাবাসীরা। মূলত টিকিট না পাওয়া বিক্ষুব্ধ তৃণমূলের সঙ্গে টিকিট পাওয়া গোষ্ঠীর বিবাদ, আর তা নিয়েই সংঘর্ষ। বুধবার রাতে ঘটনাকে ঘিরে চাঞ্চল্য ছড়িয়েছে মালদার ইংরেজবাজার ব্লকের নঘড়িয়া গ্রামে। ঘটনাস্থলে পুলিশ। বেশ কয়েকজন এই ঘটনায় আহত হয়েছেন। বৃহস্পতিবার সকাল থেকে এই ঘটনার পর গোটা এলাকা থমথমে রয়েছে। এলাকায় রয়েছে ইংলিশ বাজার থানার বিশাল পুলিশ বাহিনী। জায়গায় জায়গায় বসানো হয়েছে পুলিশ পিকেট। জানা গিয়েছে, ন’ঘড়িয়া গ্রামে বেশ কয়েকজন তৃণমূল নেতা টিকিট না পেয়ে নির্দল হিসাবে এবারের পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনে লড়ছেন। মূলত আম চিহ্নে গ্রামে নির্দল প্রার্থী হিসাবে দাঁড়িয়েছেন তাঁরা। যাঁরা টিকিট পেয়েছেন, তাদের সঙ্গে বিবাদ চলছিল। গ্রামে তা নিয়ে চাপা উত্তেজনা ছিল। এর আগেও মিছিল কিংবা দলীয় কোনও কর্মসূচিতে দুপক্ষের মধ্যে সংঘর্ষ হয়েছে। কুরবানী ঈদ উপলক্ষে অনেকের বাড়িতেই আত্মীয়রা এসেছিলেন। অভিযোগ, হঠাৎই মধ্যরাতে গ্রামে শুরু হয় বোমাবাজি। এক পক্ষ অস্ত্র নিয়ে বাড়িতে চড়াও হয় বলে অভিযোগ। অপরপক্ষ প্রতিরোধ গড়ে তুলতেই শুরু হয় সংঘর্ষ। গ্রামে ব্যাপক বোমাবাজি হয়। পেট্রোল ঢেলে জ্বালিয়ে দেওয়া হয় দুটি বাড়ি, দোকান। ব্যাপক ভাঙচুর হয় আরও ৫ টি বাড়িতে। অবাধে চলে লুঠপাট। টাকা, গয়না, গবাদি পশু, বাইকও লুঠ চলে বলে অভিযোগ। তীব্র উত্তেজনা মালদার ইংরেজবাজার ব্লকের ন’ঘড়িয়া গ্রামে। খবর পেয়ে রাতেই ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছয় পুলিশ। অভিযুক্তদের খোঁজে এলাকায় তল্লাশি চলছে। আক্রান্ত এক পরিবারের সদস্য বলেন, “আমাদের বাড়ির গেট ভেঙেছে। বাড়ির ছাদে উঠে বোমাবাজি করছিল। দোকানের টাকা, বাইক নিয়ে চলে গিয়েছে।”

They stand as independent candidates in the village on mango symbols. There was a dispute with those who got tickets. There was great excitement in the village. Before this, there was a clash between the two parties during a procession or a party program. Relatives came to many homes on the occasion of Qurbani Eid. Allegedly, the bombardment started in the village suddenly at midnight. It is alleged that one party entered the house with weapons. The conflict started when the other side resisted. There was heavy bombardment in the village. Two houses and shops were burnt with petrol. 5 more houses were extensively vandalized. Looting is going on freely. The area is being searched for the accused. An affected family member said, “The gate of our house was broken. Bombing was done on the roof of the house. He left with the shop money, the bike.”
