মালদা: মালদায় ভোট পরবর্তী হিংসা অব্যাহত। এবারে এক তৃণমূল কর্মীর বাড়িতে আগুন লাগিয়ে দেওয়ার অভিযোগ। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে মালদার ইংলিশ বাজার থানার নরহাট্টা গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের আনন্দিপুর এলাকায়। জানা গেছে ওই এলাকার বাসিন্দা তৃণমূল কর্মীর নাম আজিমুদ্দিন শেখ। গভীর রাতে কেউ বা কারা তার বাড়িতে আগুন লাগিয়ে দেয় বলে অভিযোগ। যদিও অগ্নিসংযোগের পরপরই পরিবারের সদস্যরা টের পেয়ে যাওয়াই সঙ্গে সঙ্গে আগুন নিভিয়ে ফেলেন। ফলে বড় কোন অঘটন করতে পারিনি। বৃহস্পতিবার সকালে বিষয়টি জানাজানি হতেই গোটা এলাকা জুড়ে চাঞ্চল্য ছড়িয়ে পড়ে। তবে কে বা কারা আগুন লাগিয়েছে সেই বিষয়ে স্পষ্ট করে বলতে পারেননি তৃণমূল কর্মী আজিমুদ্দিন শেখ। তবে এলাকাবাসীরা মনে করছেন রাজনৈতিক প্রতিহিংসার জেরে এই ঘটনা। খবর পেয়ে ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছেছে পুলিশ।
