নিজস্ব সংবাদঃ পঞ্চায়েতের ভোট গণনা শেষের দিকে হতেই দিনে দুপুরে এলাকায় ব্যাপক বোমাবাজি। অভিযোগের তীর বিজেপি আশ্রিত দুষ্কৃতীদের বিরুদ্ধে। ঘটনাটি নদীয়ার শান্তিপুর বেলঘড়িয়া ২ নম্বর পঞ্চায়েতের গবারচর মাঝের পাড়ায়। ওই এলাকার মহিলাদের অভিযোগ, তাদের তৃণমূল প্রার্থী জিতেছে কিনা সেই খবরের জন্যই এলাকাতেই জমায়েত ভাবে অপেক্ষা করছিলেন তারা। হঠাৎই বিজেপির বেশ কিছু কর্মী এসে প্রকাশ্যে পরপর চারটি বোমা মারে। যদিও হঠাৎ বোমাবাজির ঘটনায় আতঙ্কের সৃষ্টি হয় গোটা এলাকায়। মহিলাদের একাংশের অভিযোগ, বিজেপি ওই পঞ্চায়েতে ভালো ফল করায় এই বোমাবাজি ও হামলা। তবে কারোর কোন ক্ষয়ক্ষতি হয়নি বলে জানিয়েছেন গ্রামের মহিলারা। তবুও এলাকায় যেভাবে দুষ্কৃতীদের তান্ডব শুরু হয়েছে তাতে আতঙ্কের মধ্যে রয়েছে ওই এলাকার মানুষ এমনটাই জানাচ্ছেন। খবর পেতেই ঘটনাস্থলে যায় শান্তিপুর থানার পুলিশ আর পুলিশের সামনেই বোমাবাজির ঘটনা তুলে ধরেন গ্রামের মানুষ।

The women in the area alleged that they were waiting in the area for the news that their TMC candidate had won. Suddenly, several BJP workers came and hurled four bombs in a row in public. However, the sudden bombing caused panic in the entire area. A section of women alleged that the bombing and attack were because the BJP did well in the panchayat. However, no one was injured, the women of the village said. Still, the people of the area are in a state of panic due to the way the miscreants have started in the area. As soon as the information was received, shantipur police reached the spot and the people of the village narrated the incident in front of the police.
