জাহেদ মিস্ত্রী, বারুইপুর :- মহিলা পুলিশ কর্মীর বাড়ি থেকে সোনার গয়না চুরি করে বিক্রি করে দেওয়া হত সোনার দোকানে। গত মাসে বারইপুর পুলিশ জেলার একজন মহিলা পুলিশ কর্মচারী বাড়িতে চার পাঁচ দিন ছিল না, আত্মীয়ের বাড়িতে ছিল। সেই সময় তার বাড়ির তালা ভেঙে ৫ লক্ষ টাকার সোনা ও নগদ এক লক্ষ টাকা চুরি হয়। তদন্ত নামে বারুইপুর থানার পুলিশ। বারইপুর থানার আধিকারিক রনি সরকারের নেতৃত্বে বিশাল পুলিশ বাহিনী দু তিন দিন ধরে বিভিন্ন জায়গায় তল্লাশি চালিয়ে প্রচুর পরিমাণে সোনার গয়না উদ্ধার করে। গ্রেপ্তার করা হয় এই চুরি চক্রের পান্ডা সহ মোট তিনজনকে, এদের নাম নিজাম মোল্লা ওরফে বাচ্চু, সৌরভ পাত্র ও উত্তম কর্মকার। বাড়ি উত্তর 24 পরগনার জগদল, বিষ্ণুপুর, ও মন্দিরবাজার থানা এলাকায়। পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, গত মাসে বারুইপুর গোলপুকুর এর বাসিন্দা এক মহিলা পুলিশ কর্মীর বাড়িতে চুরি হয়, অভিযোগ, 5 লক্ষ টাকার গয়না ও নগদ 1 লক্ষ টাকা খোয়া গিয়েছিল। সেই চুরির তদন্তে নেমে তিন জনকে ধরে, এই দলের পান্ডা নিজাম ওরফে বাচ্চু, তার নামে বারুইপুর, জয়নগর থানায় একাধিক চুরির অভিযোগ আছে। বাকি দুজন মূলত চুরির গয়না কিনে নিজেদের দোকানে গলিয়ে বিক্রি করতো এবং চোরাই সোনা কেনা বেচার সাথে যুক্ত বহুদিন ধরে।
Jahed Mistry, Baruipur :- Gold jewelery was stolen from the house of a female police officer and sold in a gold shop. Last month, a female police officer of Baripur police district was not at home for four or five days, staying at a relative’s house. At that time, the lock of his house was broken and gold of 5 lakh rupees and cash of 1 lakh rupees were stolen. The police of Baruipur police station called the investigation. A huge police force led by Baripur police station officer Roni Sarkar searched various places for two or three days and recovered a large amount of gold jewellery. A total of three people including the pandas of this theft ring, namely Nizam Molla alias Bachchu, Saurabh Patra and Uttam Karmakar, were arrested. Houses in North 24 Parganas Jagdal, Bishnupur, and Mandirbazar thana areas. According to the police, last month, the house of a female police officer resident of Baruipur Golpukur was burglarized, allegedly jewelery worth Rs 5 lakh and cash of Rs 1 lakh were lost. In the investigation of that theft, three persons were arrested, Panda Nizam alias Bachchu of this group, in his name, Baruipur, Jayanagar police station has multiple theft charges. The other two mainly used to buy stolen jewelery and sell it in their shops and have been associated with buying and selling stolen gold for a long time
