মালদা, ১৭ জুলাই : মৃত বিজেপি কর্মীর বাড়িতে সমবেদনা জানাতে গেলেন উত্তর মালদা কেন্দ্রের বিজেপি সাংসদ খগেন মুর্মু। বিজেপি কর্মী বাবাকে খুন করার অভিযোগ তৃণমূল কর্মী ছেলে ও বৌমার বিরুদ্ধে। রবিবার সকালে বিজেপি কর্মীর ঝুলন্ত দেহ উদ্ধার করেছিল পুলিশ। গ্রামবাসীদের অভিযোগ, বিজেপি কর্মী বুরন মুর্মুকে মারধর দিয়ে খুন করে ঝুলিয়ে দেওয়ার অভিযোগ উঠে ছেলে বিপ্লব মুর্মু ও বৌমা শর্মিলা মুর্মু্র বিরুদ্ধে। গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনে মালদা জেলার বামনগোলা ব্লকের কইনা দিঘি এলাকায় শর্মিলা মুর্মু প্রার্থী হয়েছিলেন তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের। বুরন মুর্মু প্রচার করেছিলেন বিজেপি প্রার্থীর হয়ে। বিজেপি প্রার্থীর কাছে হেরে যান শর্মিলা মুর্ম। নির্বাচন পরবর্তীতে শনিবার রাতে বাবাকে মারধর দিয়ে খুন করে ঝুলিয়ে দেওয়ার অভিযোগ উঠে ছেলের বিরুদ্ধে। খুনের অভিযোগে ছেলে বিপ্লব মূর্মু এবং বৌমা শর্মিলা মুর্মুকে গ্রেফতার করে পুলিশ। সোমবার তাদের তোলা হয় মালদা জেলা আদালতে। বিজেপি কর্মী খুনের ঘটনায় বাকি অভিযুক্তদের গ্রেফতারের দাবি তুলে বামন গোলা থানার অন্তর্গত পাকুয়া পুলিশ ফাঁড়ির সামনে অবস্থান বিক্ষোভ বিজেপির। উপস্থিত ছিলেন উত্তর মালদা কেন্দ্রের বিজেপি সাংসদ খগেন মুর্মু উত্তর মালদা সাংগঠনিক জেলার সভাপতি উজ্জ্বল দত্ত সহ অন্যান্য জেলা নেতৃত্ব। সংসদ খগেন মুর্মু বলেন, বুরণ মুর্মু দীর্ঘদিন ধরে বিজেপি কর্মী হিসেবে কাজ করতেন। তার উপর হামলা হবে এমন আশঙ্কা করে পুলিশকে জানালেও পুলিশ কোন পদক্ষেপ নেয়নি। ছেলে এবং বৌমা গ্রেফতার হলেও আরো কয়েকজন এই ঘটনার সঙ্গে যুক্ত রয়েছে। তাদের গ্রেপ্তারের দাবিতে তারা অবস্থান বিক্ষোভ করেন।

Sharmila Murm lost to BJP candidate. After the elections, the son was accused of beating his father and hanging him on Saturday night. Police arrested son Biplab Murmu and grandmother Sharmila Murmu on the charge of murder. They were taken to the Malda District Court on Monday. BJP staged a protest in front of Pakua police outpost under Baman Gola police station, demanding the arrest of the rest of the accused in the murder of BJP workers. North Malda North BJP MP Khagen Murmu, North Malda Organizational District President Ujjal Dutt and other district leaders were present. Sangsad Khagen Murmu said, Buran Murmu worked as a BJP worker for a long time. Fearing that he would be attacked, he informed the police but the police did not take any action. The boy and the grandmother have been arrested but some others are connected with the incident. They staged a protest demanding their arrest.
