উত্তর দিনাজপুরঃ মোহাম্মদ জাকারিয়া : গত ৮ই জুলাই ছিল রাজ্যে পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচন। মনোনয়ন পত্র জমা দেওয়া থেকে নির্বাচনের ফল প্রকাশ সবেতেই বিক্ষিপ্ত হিংসার চিত্র ধরা পড়েছে গোটা রাজ্যের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে। ব্যালট চুরি থেকে দেদার ছাপ্পা, খুন, বোমাবাজি এমনকি ব্যালট খেয়ে নেওয়ার মতো লজ্জাজনক ঘটনাও ঘটেছে রাজ্যে। রাজনৈতিক নেতৃত্ব থেকে সাধারণ মানুষ প্রাণ হারিয়েছেন নির্বাচনের নামে। নির্বাচনের নামে চলেছে প্রহসন। রাজ্যে কেন্দ্রীয় বাহিনী আসলেও বহু পঞ্চায়েতে তাদের নিষ্ক্রিয় ভূমিকা পালন করতে দেখা গেছে। এমতবস্থায় বিরোধীদের অভিযোগ, শাসক দল পুলিশ এবং বিডিও সহ প্রশাসনিক আমলাদের ক্ষমতা অপব্যবহার করেছে নিজেদের সুবিধার্থে। সেই প্রতিবাদে আজ অর্থাৎ ২১শে জুলাই রাজ্যের পাশাপাশি উত্তর দিনাজপুরের করণদীঘি বিডিও অফিসের সামনে বিজেপির বিক্ষোভ। ‘বিডিও ঘেরাও, গণতন্ত্র ফেরাও’ স্লোগানকে সামনে রেখে আজ অর্থাৎ শুক্রবার বিকেলে সারা রাজ্যের পাশাপাশি উত্তর দিনাজপুরের করণদিঘী বিডিও অফিস ঘেরাও করে বিজেপির কর্মী সমর্থকরের বিক্ষোভ দেখায়। আজ অর্থাৎ শুক্রবার একদিকে তৃণমূলের শহীদ দিবস, অন্যদিকে বিজেপির বিডিও অফিসের সামনে বিক্ষোভ কর্মসূচি, সব মিলিয়ে সরগরম রাজ্য রাজনীতি।
North Dinajpur: Mohammad Zakaria: Panchayat elections were held in the state on July 8. From the submission of nomination papers to the declaration of election results, sporadic violence has been witnessed in various parts of the state. There have been shameful incidents in the state like theft of ballot papers, murders, bombings and even eating of ballot papers. Ordinary people lost their lives to political leadership in the name of elections. The farce is going on in the name of the election. Central forces in the state were seen playing a passive role in many panchayats. In such a situation, the opposition alleges that the ruling party has misused the power of administrative bureaucrats including police and BDO for their benefit. Today i.e. on 21st July, BJP protested in front of Karandighi BDO office in North Dinajpur as well as in the state. With the slogan ‘Gherao BDO, bring back democracy’, today i.e. Friday afternoon, along with the Karandighi BDO office in North Dinajpur, BJP workers, and supporters staged protests across the state. Today i.e. Friday is Trinamool’s Martyr’s Day on the one hand, BJP’s protest program in front of the BDO office on the other hand, and all in all, active state politics.
