মালদা: মালদায় ভোট পরবর্তী হিংসা। আক্রান্ত কংগ্রেস প্রার্থীর এজেন্ট। গভীর রাতে কংগ্রেস প্রার্থীর এজেন্টের বাড়িতে চড়া হয়ে তাকে মারধর করা হয় বলে অভিযোগ। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে মালদার কালিয়াচক থানার মহেশপুর ৫২ বিঘা এলাকায়। আক্রান্ত কংগ্রেস এজেন্ট জামিরুদ্দিন মৌমিন মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন। অভিযোগ উঠেছে তৃণমূল প্রার্থী ইজরাইল শেখ সহ তার দল বলের বিরুদ্ধে। কংগ্রেস প্রার্থীর এজেন্টের অভিযোগ, শনিবার গভীর রাতে বাড়িতে ঢুকে তাকে মারধর করা হয়। এই ঘটনার পর পরিবারের সদস্যরা তাকে উদ্ধার করে স্থানীয় প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্রে নিয়ে যায়। রবিবার সকালে আক্রান্ত কংগ্রেস এজেন্টকে নিয়ে আসা হয় মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে। এই ঘটনাই আজ কালিয়াচক থানায় একটি লিখিত অভিযোগ দায়ের করা হয়েছে। যদিও তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস এইসব অভিযোগ ভিত্তিহীন বলে দাবি করেছে।

After the incident, his family members rescued him and took him to the local primary health centre. The congress agent was brought to Malda Medical College Hospital on Sunday morning. A written complaint has been lodged at Kaliachak police station today. The Trinamool Congress, however, termed the allegations as baseless.
