করণদিঘী: মোহাম্মদ জাকারিয়াঃ রাজ্য নির্বাচন কমিশনের বিজ্ঞপ্তি অনুযায়ী, ৮ই জুলাই শনিবার রাজ্যে ত্রিস্তরীয় পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচন। রাজ্যের মোট ২২টি জেলার মধ্যে দার্জিলিং ও কালিম্পঙে দ্বিস্তরীয় পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচন এবং বাকি ২০টি জেলায় চলছে ত্রিস্তরীয় পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচন। সকাল ৭টা থেকে বিকাল ৫টা পর্যন্ত ভোটগ্রহণ প্রক্রিয়া চলার কথা থাকলেও কিছু কিছু জায়গায় রাত গড়িয়ে গেছে। ২০২৩ সালের পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনে মোট ভোটার রয়েছেন ৫ কোটি ৬৭ লক্ষ ২১ হাজার ২৩৪ জন। পঞ্চায়েত ভোটের দিনক্ষণ ঘোষণা হতেই উত্তপ্ত হয়ে উঠেছে বাংলা, রাজনৈতিক হিংসার চিত্র ধরা পড়েছে বাংলার বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে। বিরোধীরা বরাবরই রাজ্য পুলিশ দিয়ে ভোট করতে নারাজ, এমনকি রাজ্যের বিরোধী দলনেতা কেন্দ্রীয় বাহিনী দিয়ে ভোট করার দাবিতে হাইকোর্টের দ্বারস্থ হয়েছিলেন। শেষ পর্যন্ত হাইকোর্ট এবং রাজ্য নির্বাচন কমিশনের সুপারিশে রাজ্যে আসলো কেন্দ্রীয় বাহিনী। উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলার ৯ টি ব্লকের প্রত্যেক বুথে রাখা হয় কড়া নিরাপত্তা। উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলায় মোট ভোটারের সংখ্যা ২০ লক্ষ ৪৭ হাজার ৫১৯ জন। জেলায় শান্তিপূর্ণ ভোট গ্রহণের জন্য প্রতিটি ব্লকে বুথে পুলিশের নিরাপত্তা রয়েছে। ভোটের দিনে বিকল্প ছবি করণদীঘির দোমোহনা পঞ্চায়েতের কান্তিরপা গ্রামে এদিন কংগ্রেস এবং তৃণমূল প্রার্থীদের পাশাপাশি বসে আড্ডা দিতে দেখা যায় !
Karandighi: Mohammad Zakaria: Tri-tier panchayat elections in the state on July 8 on Saturday, according to the notification of the state election commission.
