মালদাঃ পিক-আপ ভ্যানের ধাক্কায় মৃত্যু হল দমকলকর্মী কর্মীর। পিক-আপ ভ্যান উল্টে জখম হয়েছেন ৭ শ্রমিক। মালদহের চাঁচলের ভাগভাদো এলাকায় ৮১ নম্বর জাতীয় সড়কের বাইপাসে মঙ্গলবার সকালে দুর্ঘটনাটি ঘটে। পুলিশ জানায়, মৃতের নাম মৈনাক ঘোষ(৫৭)। বাড়ি মালদহ শহরে। চাঁচল দমকল কেন্দ্রে কর্মরত ছিলেন। এদিন স্কুটিতে করে চাঁচলে আসছিলেন। হরিশ্চন্দ্রপুরের তালসুর থেকে মাখনা শ্রমিকদের নিয়ে শ্রীপুরে যাচ্ছিল পিক-আপ ভ্যানটি। নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারিয়ে স্কুটিতে ধাক্কা মেরে পিক-আপ ভ্যানটি উল্টে যায়। ঘটনাস্থলেই দমকলকর্মী মারা যান। আহত হন পিক-আপ ভ্যানের ৭ শ্রমিক। তাদের সামসি হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে।
Malda: A firefighter was killed after being hit by a pick-up van. Seven workers were injured when the pick-up van overturned. The accident took place on Tuesday morning on the bypass of National Highway 81 in Bhagvado area of Chanchal in Malda. The deceased has been identified as Mainak Ghosh (57), police said. Home in Malda city. Chanchal was working at the fire station. He was coming to Chanchal on a scooter that day. The pick-up van was going to Sripur from Talsur in Harishchandrapur with makhna workers. The pick-up van overturned after losing control and hitting the scooter. The firefighter died on the spot. Seven workers of the pick-up van were injured. They have been admitted to Samsi Hospital.
