নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদন: 25শে আগস্ট 2023 (শুক্রবার), ন্যাশনাল ইনস্টিটিউট অফ ফার্মাসিউটিক্যাল এডুকেশন অ্যান্ড রিসার্চ (NIPER), কলকাতার ভিত্তিপ্রস্তর স্থাপন অনুষ্ঠান শুক্রবার অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। ভারত সরকারের রাসায়নিক ও সার এবং স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণের মাননীয় কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী ডঃ মনসুখ মান্ডাভিয়া ভিত্তিপ্রস্তর স্থাপন করেছিলেন। অনুষ্ঠানটি অগাস্টে প্রফেসর ভি রবিচন্দ্রন, ডিরেক্টর, NIPER কলকাতা, ডাঃ জয়ন্ত চক্রবর্তী, পরিচালক, চিত্তরঞ্জন ক্যান্সার হাসপাতাল, কলকাতার উপস্থিতিতে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়; শ্রীমতি নিরজা সরফ, ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক, বিসিপিএল, কলকাতা; ডাঃ হিরন্ময় চট্টোপাধ্যায়, M.L.A., এবং শ্রী অবধেশ কুমার চৌধুরী, সিনিয়র অর্থনৈতিক উপদেষ্টা, ফার্মাসিউটিক্যালস বিভাগ, MoC&F, Govt. ভারতের প্রফেসর ভি রবিচন্দ্রন, ডিরেক্টর, NIPER কলকাতা, বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিদের স্বাগত জানান এবং ইনস্টিটিউটের অর্জনগুলি উপস্থাপন করেন।
অধ্যাপক ভি রবিচন্দ্রন, চেয়ারম্যান, BoG-এর পক্ষ থেকে ডঃ মনসুখ মান্ডাভিয়ার প্রতি আন্তরিক কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করেছেন, মাননীয় কেন্দ্রীয় রাসায়নিক ও সার এবং স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণ, সরকার। ভারতের, মিসেস এস. অপর্ণা, সেক্রেটারি, ফার্মাসিউটিক্যালস বিভাগ, NIPER কাউন্সিল ইনস্টিটিউটের অগ্রগতির দিকে তাদের সহায়তা এবং উত্সাহের জন্য। তিনি “সেন্টার ফর মেরিন থেরাপিউটিকস” এবং “রেয়ার ডিজিজ থেরাপিউটিকস” প্রতিষ্ঠার কথাও উল্লেখ করেন যার লক্ষ্য সমাজে সাশ্রয়ী মূল্যের ওষুধ সরবরাহ করা। তিনি আরও জানান যে ইনস্টিটিউটটি 100 কোটি টাকার অর্থায়নে ফ্লো রিঅ্যাক্টর এবং ক্রমাগত উত্পাদনে একটি সেন্টার অফ এক্সিলেন্স প্রতিষ্ঠা করবে৷ ফার্মাসিউটিক্যালস বিভাগ থেকে, সরকার ভারতের ডঃ মনসুখ মান্ডাভিয়া সকল প্রতিনিধি, ছাত্র, অনুষদ এবং প্রেস ও মিডিয়াকে তার শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়েছেন। তিনি পানিহাটিতে NIPER কলকাতার একটি স্থায়ী ক্যাম্পাস নির্মাণের জন্য 78 কোটি টাকা এবং উৎকর্ষ কেন্দ্র নির্মাণের জন্য 100 কোটি টাকা ঘোষণা করেছেন। তার বক্তৃতায়, তিনি ভারতীয় ফার্মা শিল্পের প্রশস্ততা এবং তাদের উৎপাদন ক্ষমতা এই বলে প্রকাশ করেন যে, “বিশ্বে ব্যবহৃত 1টি পিলের মধ্যে 4টি ভারতে তৈরি হয়৷
Dr Mansukh Mandaviya 8000 MSME ফার্মাকে সমর্থন করার জন্য মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রীর দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি শেয়ার করেছেন৷ গবেষণা এবং উদ্ভাবনের ক্ষেত্রে কোম্পানিগুলি। এই দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি নিয়ে, ফার্মাসিউটিক্যাল মন্ত্রক NIPER-গুলিকে তাদের নিজ নিজ ডোমেনে শ্রেষ্ঠত্বের কেন্দ্রে পরিণত করে৷ একটি সামগ্রিক পদ্ধতিতে, NIPER-এর উচিত শিল্প গবেষণায় অংশগ্রহণের জন্য শিল্পগুলির সাথে সহযোগিতা করা এবং এছাড়াও শিল্প এবং একাডেমিয়ার মধ্যে একটি সেতু তৈরি করুন। উদ্যোক্তা ধারণাকে উৎসাহিত করতে মন্ত্রী 150টি উদ্ভাবনী ধারণার জন্য 150 কোটি ঘোষণা করেছেন। ধন্যবাদ ভোট দিয়েছেন শ্রী অবধেশ কুমার চৌধুরী, সিনিয়র অর্থনৈতিক উপদেষ্টা, ফার্মাসিউটিক্যালস বিভাগ, MoC&F, ভারত সরকার।
Own Report: 25th August 2023 (Friday), The Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Kolkata, was held on Friday (25-08-2023). The Foundation Stone was laid by Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, Hon’ble Union Minister of Chemicals & Fertilizers and Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India. The Ceremony took place in the August presence of Prof V Ravichandran, Director, NIPER Kolkata, Dr. Jayanta Chakrabarti, Director, Chittaranjan Cancer Hospital, Kolkata; Ms. Nirja Saraf, Managing Director, BCPL, Kolkata; Dr. Hiranmay Chattopadhyaya, M.L.A., and Shri Awadhesh Kumar Choudhary, Sr. Economic Advisor, Dept. of Pharmaceuticals, MoC&F, Govt. of India.
Prof V Ravichandran, Director, NIPER Kolkata, welcomed the dignitaries and presented the achievements of the institute. Prof V Ravichandran expresses sincere gratitude on behalf of Chairman, BoG to Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, Hon’ble Union Minister of Chemicals & Fertilizers and Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, Ms S. Aparna, Secretary, Dept. of Pharmaceuticals, NIPER Council for their support and encouragement towards the progress of the institute. He also mentioned the establishment of “Centre for Marine Therapeutics” and “Rare Disease Therapeutics” which aim to provide affordable medicines to society. He further informed that the Institute would establish a Centre of Excellence in Flow Reactor and Continuous Manufacturing with the funding support of Rs.100 Cr. from the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Govt. of India.
Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya conveyed his greetings to all delegates, students, faculties, and press & media. He announced 78 crore rupees for the construction of a permanent campus of NIPER KOLKATA in Panihati and 100 crores to build the centre of excellence. In his speech, he expresses the amplitude of Indian pharma industries and their manufacturing capacity by saying, “4 out of 1 pill consumed in the world is made in India. Dr Mansukh Mandaviya shares the view of the honourable Prime Minister to support 8000 MSME pharma companies in the field of research and innovation. With this view, the Ministry of Pharmaceutical makes the NIPERs a centre of excellence in their respective domain. In a holistic approach, the NIPER should collaborate with the industries to participate in industrial research and also want to make a bridge between industry and academia. To encourage entrepreneurship ideas minister announced 150 crores to 150 innovative ideas.
