নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদনঃ আজ থেকে প্রায় দশ বছর আগে পশ্চিম বঙ্গের বিভিন্ন জেলার কিছু তরুণ যারা বিশেষ ভাবে সক্ষম যাদের শারীরিক সক্ষমতায় 40% ন্যুনতম। তারা স্বপ্ন দেখেছিলো বিশেষ ভাবে সক্ষমদের জন্য ক্রিকেট খেলায় অংশগ্রহণ করার। সেই সময় পশ্চিমবঙ্গের এক মাত্র স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠনে তাঁরা যোগ দিয়েছিল। তারপর সেখানকার সংস্থার অসহযোগিতা,অস্বচ্ছতা খেলার ব্যবস্থা না করা এবং সর্বপরি নিজেদের খরচে বিভিন্ন জায়গায় খেলতে যাওয়া এইসব কারণে, তাঁরা বেশি করে খেলার সুযোগ তৈরী করা এবং আরও বেশি সংখ্যক খেলোয়াড়দের মাঠে অংশগ্রহণ করানোর লক্ষ্যে নিজেরাই গঠন করলেন ওয়েস্ট বেঙ্গল দিব্যং ক্রিকেট অ্যাসোসিয়েশন। সালটা 2018 তাদের কোন অর্থ নেই, খেলার সরঞ্জাম নেই, তবুও তারা সাধারণ মানুষদের কাছে একপ্রকার ভিক্ষা করে রানাঘাটে মাঠে আয়োজন করলেন আন্ত:রাজ্য ত্রিদলীয় ক্রিকেট প্রতিযোগিতা। সেটি সফল হল তখন তারা নতুন উদ্যোগে এগিয়ে চলতে লাগল। সমর্থন আদায় করে নিল বিশিষ্ট নাগরিকদের। তারপর আর পিছন ফিরে তাকাতে হয়নি তাদের। 2019 সালে আন্তর্জাতিক সিরিজ বাংলাদেশের সাথে আয়োজন করলেন। বিভিন্ন সংস্থা, প্রাক্তন ক্রীড়াবিদ , শুভাকাঙ্ক্ষীদের সহযোগিতায় সফলতার পাশে সিরিজ জয় করে নজির সৃষ্টি করলেন একর পর এক । এরপর থেমে না থেকে প্রতিবছর বিভিন্ন রাজ্যকে আমন্ত্রণ জানিয়ে একের পর এক ক্রিকেট সিরিজ আয়োজন করে দেশের মধ্যে নজির গড়লেন। তাদের এই চলার পথ ভীষণ কঠিন ছিল,কিছু ঈর্ষাকাতর মানুষ বিভিন্ন ভাবে প্রতিবন্ধকতা সৃষ্টি করেও তাঁদের দমাতে পারেনি । তাঁদের জেদ, নিষ্ঠা এবং সততার জোড়ে আরও শক্তিশালী হয়েছে । বর্তমানে তারা বিদেশ সফর করেছে, পুনরায় আন্তর্জাতিক সিরিজের আয়োজন করেছে এবং সদ্য ত্রিদলীয় সিরিজ সম্পন্ন করেছে ,সেখানে দিব্যং ক্রিকেটে প্রাইজ মানি দিয়েছে 46 হাজার টাকা যা আজ পর্যন্ত পশ্চিমবঙ্গের কোন সংস্থা দিতে পারেনি।
আজ সংস্থা বড় হয়েছে খেলোয়াড়ের সংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে। তাদের যাওয়া আসা অনুশীলন করা থাকা-খাওয়া সবই সম্ভব হয়েছে কিছু মানুষের অবদানে। সংস্থার প্রতিষ্ঠাতা অভিজিৎ বিশ্বাস যিনি নিজে ভারতীয় দিব্যং খেলোয়াড়; অক্লান্ত পরিশ্রম করে চলেছেন এই খেলাটিকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়ার লক্ষ্যে এবং এমন কিছু মানুষকে পাশে পেয়েছেন যাঁদের অবদান সত্যিই অনস্বীকার্য যেমন মৌমিতা চক্রবর্তী (বিসিসিআই ম্যাচ রেফারী), দীপ্তিমান চট্টোপাধ্যায় ,সুদীপ্ত ভট্টাচার্য, ফিরোজ খান ( সকলেই কর্পোরেট সংস্থার কর্ণধার) সুমন দেবনাথ (ডেপুটি ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট) অনন্যা মিত্র (প্রাক্তন ক্রিকেটার) Jmk Sports, Vision Sports, Vishal Prasad, ARSALAN. প্রবীর বৈরাগী প্রমূখকে । আগামী সেপ্টেম্বর ২৪ তারিখ তারা বারাণসীতে খেলতে যাচ্ছে । উত্তর প্রদেশ এবং দিল্লির সাথে, এর আগেও 2020 এবং 2021 সালে এইখানে চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয়েছিল বেঙ্গল টিম। Avishek Dalmiya তাদের এই সাফল্যে উচ্ছসিত হয়ে C.A.B -র মাধ্যমে তাঁদের ক্রিকেট কীট প্রদান করেছেন। বর্তমান যারা বারাণসীতে খেলতে যাচ্ছেন তারা হলেন (1 )Ritam Sarkar(C) (2) Dipankar Mallick (VC) (3) Tapan Bairagi (4) Suman Dey (5) Mahesh kr shaw (6) Purnab Oraw (7) Shib Shankar Giri (8) Abhijit Biswas (9) Bimal Mahato (10) Faruk Abdullah (11) Rohit Gupta (12) Sukumar Mahato (13) Rakesh Madhu (14) Debashish Sadhukha

Own Report: About ten years ago some youths in different districts of West Bengal who are specially-abled had a minimum of 40% physical ability. They dreamed of participating in cricket for the specially abled. At that time they joined only one voluntary organization in West Bengal. Then due to the non-cooperation of the organization, lack of transparency and above all going to play in different places at their own expense, they formed the West Bengal Dibyang Cricket Association to create more playing opportunities and get more players to participate in the field. In the year 2018, they had no money, and no playing equipment, yet they begged the familiar people and organized an inter-state tri-team cricket competition at Ranaghat. When that was successful, they moved on to new ventures. Prominent citizens received support. Then they didn’t have to look back. They have organized an international series with Bangladesh in 2019. With the help of various organizations, ex-athletes, and well-wishers, he set a precedent by winning the series next to success. After that, he developed a precedent in the country by organizing cricket series one after another by inviting different states every year without stopping. Their journey was very difficult, some jealous people could not stop them even if they created obstacles in various ways. Their persistence, devotion and honesty have made them stronger. Currently, they have toured abroad, organized an international series again and recently completed the Tri-Party Series, where Dibyang Cricket has given prize money of 46 thousand rupees which no organization in West Bengal has been able to give to date.
Today the organization has grown and the number of players has increased. Their travelling, practising, living and eating have all been made possible by the contribution of some people. The founder of the organization is Abhijit Biswas who is an Indian Diving player himself; has been working tirelessly to take the game forward and has got people by his side whose contribution is truly undeniable like Moumita Chakraborty ( BCCI Match Referee), Deeptiman Chatterjee, Sudipta Bhattacharya, Feroze Khan (all heads of corporate bodies) Suman Debnath (Deputy Magistrate), Ananya Mitra ( former women Bengal Cricketer), Jmk Sports, Vision Sports, Vishal Prasad, ARSALAN. Prabir Bairagi and others. They are going to play in Varanasi on September 24. Along with Uttar Pradesh and Delhi, the Bengal team had earlier won the title here in 2020 and 2021. Avishek Dalmiya was delighted with their success and gifted them cricket kits through C.A.B.
