কলকাতা, ১৭ অক্টোবর, ২০২৩: এস বি পার্ক সার্বজনিন শহরের অন্যতম নজরকাড়া একটি পুজো যা তার উদ্ভাবনী ধারণা এবং উদযাপন শৈলীর জন্য বিখ্যাত। তাদের এবারের থিম ‘এলেম নতুন দেশে’ একটি অনন্য আকর্ষণ নিয়ে এসেছে। ৬ ফুট উচ্চতার বিশালাকায় ধূপকাঠি যা টানা ৭২ ঘন্টা ধরে জ্বলবে। এই ধূপকাঠি থেকে নির্গত সুগন্ধ ১ কিলোমিটারেরও বেশি দূরত্বে পৌঁছবে।
এস বি পার্ক সার্বজনীন দুর্গোৎসব আজ উদ্বোধন করলেন শ্রী দিলীপ মন্ডল, রাজ্য পরিবহণ দফতরের মন্ত্রী; শ্রীমতী সম্পূর্ণা লাহিড়ী, অভিনেত্রী ও এস বি পার্ক সর্বজনীন দুর্গোৎসব ২০২৩-এর ব্র্যান্ড অ্যাম্বাসেডর এবং আরও অনেক বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিত্ব। মিডিয়ার সাথে কথা বলার সময়, ক্লাবের সভাপতি শ্রী সঞ্জয় মজুমদার বলেন, “এস বি পার্ক সার্বজনিন তাদের ৫৩ তম বছরে থিম- এলেম নতুন দেশে উদযাপন করতে পেরে অত্যন্ত গর্বিত। এমন একটি অস্থির সময়ে, যখন চারপাশের বিশ্ব রাজনীতি, ধর্ম, পুঁজিবাদ এবং জলবায়ু সংকটের কারণে প্রতি সেকেন্ড সংকীর্ণ হয়ে আসছে, তখন এস বি পার্ক শৈল্পিক কল্পনার মাধ্যমে একটি সমাধানে পৌঁছানোর চেষ্টা করে। ‘এলেম নতুন দেশে’ শব্দটি স্বয়ং রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর তাঁর “তাসের ঘর” নাটকে ব্যবহার করেছিলেন। নাটকে তিনি বিভেদ, ভেদাভেদ বা ভেদাভেদ মুক্ত জীবনের কথা বলেছেন। এমনকি এস.বি. পার্কেও, এই ধারণাটি মন্ডপের নকশায় প্রতিফলিত হয়েছে। পাখিদের একটি দেশ, যেখানে পাসপোর্ট বা ভিসার প্রয়োজন নেই; আলো-বাতাসের মতোই তারা অবাধে এক ভূমি থেকে অন্য ভূমিতে উড়তে পারে, সীমানা ছাড়াই। ঠাকুরপুকুরের পুজো মণ্ডপে পা রাখলে মনে হবে যেন কারো মধ্যে কোনও বিভেদ নেই।” তিনি সবাইকে পরিবার এবং বন্ধুদের সাথে পুজোয় আসার আমন্ত্রণ জানান।

Kolkata, 17th October 2023: S B Park Sarbojanin one of the eye-catcher puja of the city for its innovative concept and celebration style have chosen the Theme ‘Elem Notun Deshe’ (We have arrived in a new land) and come up with a unique attraction of Giant Agarbatti (incense sticks) of 6 feet height which will be should for 72 consecutive hours. The fragrance emitting from the Giant Agarbatti reached a distance of more than 1 KM. S B Park Sarbojanin Durgotsav was inaugurated today by Sri. Dilip Mondal, Minister of State Transport Department, Govt. of WB; Smt. Sampurna Lahiri, Actress and brand Ambassador for S B Park Sarbojanin Durgotsav 2023 and many other eminent personalities.
Speaking to the media, Mr. Sanjay Majumder, Club President said, “S B Park Sarbojanin takes immense pride in celebrating the 53rd year with its theme – Elem Notun Deshe (We have arrived in a new land). During such an explosive time as ours, when the world around us is getting narrower every second with politics, religion, capitalism and the climate crisis looming large, S B Park attempts to reach out to a solution via artistic imagination. ‘Arrived in a new land’ was the phrase used by Rabindranath Tagore himself in his play “The Tasher Ghor”. In the play, he discussed a life devoid of divisions, distinctions, or differences. Even in S. B. Park, this concept was reflected in the design of the public gathering space. Birds do not need a country, passport, or visa; they can freely fly from one land to another, unburdened by boundaries, like light and air. Similarly, if you step into Thakurpukur’s Puja mandap, it will seem that there is no division. ” He added inviting everyone to come to the puja with family and friends.
