গোপাল বিশ্বাস-নদীয়া : কথায় আছে শিব জ্ঞানে জীব সেবা, কেউ কেউ আবার বলে থাকেন ঈশ্বর জ্ঞানে জীব সেবা, অর্থাৎ জীব সেবা তথা মানব সেবায় ব্রতীর কথাই বলে থাকেন। আর বৃহস্পতিবার এমনই এক মানব সেবার অনুষ্ঠানের সাক্ষি থাকলো নদীয়ার মন্দির নগরী নবদ্বীপ ধাম। বর্তমান সময়ে নবদ্বীপ ব্লাড সেন্টারে চাহিদা অনুযায়ী রক্তের কিছুটা সংকট দেখ দেয়, আর এমতাবস্থায় নিজেদের সাধ্যমতো সেই সংকট মোচনে এগিয়ে আসলো একদল মানুষ, যারা সর্বদাই নিয়োজিত থাকেন ঈশ্বরের আরাধনায়। বৃহস্পতিবার সকালে নবদ্বীপ প্রাচীন মায়াপুর শ্রীশ্রী গৌরাঙ্গ জন্মস্থান আশ্রমে নবদ্বীপ গৌড়ীয় বৈষ্ণব সমাজের উদ্যোগে, নিত্যলীলা প্রবিষ্ট প্রভুপাদ শ্রীল নিশীথ কুমার গোস্বামী মহোদয়ের স্মরণে আয়োজিত হলো এক স্বেচ্ছায় রক্তদান শিবির। এদিনের এই অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন নবদ্বীপের বিধায়ক পুণ্ডরীকাক্ষ সাহা, ছিলেন পৌর পতি বিমান কৃষ্ণ সাহা, ছিলেন নবদ্বীপ গৌড়ীয় বৈষ্ণব সমাজের সকল দায়িত্ব প্রাপ্ত সদস্য সহ অনেকে। এদিনের এই স্বেচ্ছায় রক্তদান শিবিরে এগিয়ে আসেন এলাকার অসংখ্য যুবক, পাশাপাশি জন্মস্থান আশ্রমে চলমান রক্তদান শিবির দেখে উৎসাহিত হয়ে রক্ত দিতে এগিয়ে আসতে দেখা যায় একাধিক তীর্থযাত্রীদেরও। এদিনের অনুষ্ঠান প্রসঙ্গে জন্মস্থান আশ্রমের অধ্যক্ষ জানান চিকিৎসার অপরিহার্য হিসেবে এই রক্তের কোন বিকল্প হয়না, আমরা চেষ্টা করেছি আমাদের সাধ্যমতো মানুষের সেবার লক্ষ্যে পাসে থাকতে, প্রতি বছরই আমরা করি এবছরও আয়োজন করা হয়েছে, এদিন সকলেই উৎসাহিত হয়ে এগিয়ে এসেছে, এটাই বড় প্রাপ্তি।পাশাপাশি বিধায়ক পুরুষ সাহাও তার বক্তব্যে আয়োজকের উদ্দেশ্যে সাধুবাদ জানিয়ে শিবিরের সাফল্য কামনা করেন। নবদ্বীপ ব্লাড সেন্টারে প্রতিনিধী বাবর আলি সেখ জানান, আমরা বিভিন্ন সময়ে বিভিন্ন জায়গায় শিবির করি, এদিনের শিবির সত্যি এক ব্যাতিক্রমি, কারন যারা বছর ভর ঈশ্বরের আরাধনায় ব্রতী থাকেন তারা এগিয়ে এসেছেন এমন একটি কাজে, আর এই শিবিরে পর্যটকরাও রক্ত দিতে এগিয়ে এসেছে, এটাও বড় পাওনা, এহেন শিবির জেলার বুকে একটা দৃষ্টান্ত তৈরী করবে, পাশাপাশি তিনি সকল রক্ত দাতাদেরও রক্ত দান করার উপকারীতা, সহ বিভিন্ন পরামর্শ দেন। সব মিলিয়ে কার্যত উৎসবের আমেজে যখন সকলে গা ভাসিয়ে আনন্দে মত্ত তখন নবদ্বীপ গৌড়ীয় বৈষ্ণব সমাজের এহেন মানবিক ও সামাজিক উদ্যোগ যেন স্বার্থক রূপ দিলো ” মানুষ মানুষের জন্য, / জীবন জীবনের জন্য “।

Nabadwip MLA Pundarikaksha Saha, Municipal Mayor Biman Krishna Saha, all responsible members of Nabadwip Gaudiya Vaishnava Samaj and many others were present in this event. Many young people of the area came forward in this voluntary blood donation camp, besides many pilgrims were also seen coming forward to donate blood after seeing the ongoing blood donation camp at Janmsthan Ashram. Regarding this day’s event, Janmsthan Ashram principal said that there is no substitute for this blood as a medical necessity, we have tried our best to serve the people, we do it every year, this year too, everyone has come forward with enthusiasm, this is a great achievement.
