গোপাল বিশ্বাস, নদীয়া – সোমবার ইংরেজি নতুন বছরের শুরু আর এই দিনটিকে স্বাগত জানাতে ও নিজেদের মতো করে কাটাতে ব্যাস্ত আট থেকে আশি সকলেই। কেউ পরিবারের সাথে কেউ বন্ধুদের সাথে কেউ বা তার একান্ত প্রিয়জনের সাথে এই বিশেষ দিনটিকে কাটাতে হাজির কেউবা পাহাড়ের কোলে কেউ সমুদ্রের কাছে, তো কেউ নিজেদের প্রিয়জায়গায়, এসবের সাথে পাল্লা দিয়ে সোমবার লক্ষাধিক মানুষের সমাগমে সরগরম থাকলো নদীয়ার নবদ্বীপ ও মায়াপুর। কার্যত উৎসবের আমেজেই সকলকে দেখা গেলো নিজেদের মতোন করে আনন্দে মেতে উঠতে। তবে বরাবরের মতোই নবদ্বীপ মায়াপুরে দেখা মিললো বহু পর্যটককে তাদের নিজেদের সাথে বাড়ির আরাধ্য দেবতা তথা গোপাল কেই সাথে নিয়ে নতুন বছরকে স্বাগত জানাতে হাজির হতে। আর এই বিশেষ দিনে তীর্থ যাত্রী দের নিরাপত্তা ও সুবিধার্থে প্রশাসনের নজরদারি ছিলো চোখে পড়ার মতো। সকাল আনুমানিক দশটা বাজতেই একদিকে যখন ইস্কনের মূল গেটে হাজির হাজার হাজার তীর্থ যাত্রী, তখনই সেই ভীড় কে যেন টেক্কা দিতে নবদ্বীপ বড়াল ঘাট সহ বিভিন্ন মঠ মন্দিরেও দেখা গেল জনপ্লাবন।
নবদ্বীপ ফেরিঘাট সুত্রে জানা যায় ভোর থেকে কুয়াশার কারনে কিছুটা বিঘ্নিত হয়েছিল ফেরি চলাচল, তবে কুয়াশা কাটতেই সুষ্ঠু ভাবেই চলছে নবদ্বীপ, মায়াপুর, স্বরূপ গঞ্জে ফেরি চলাচল। পাশাপাশি আরও জানা যায় যাত্রী পারবার ও নিরাপত্তার কথা ভেবে চলছে মাইকিং, রাখা হয়েছে অতিরিক্ত নৌকা, লঞ্চ পরিষেবা,সহ নিরাপত্তার সকল ব্যাবস্থাই।ইস্কনের জনসংযোগ আধিকারিক রসিক গৌরাঙ্গ দাস জানান ইস্কন মায়াপুর বর্তমানে বিশ্ববাসীর কাছে আকর্শনের কেন্দ্র বিন্দু, হেরিটেজ কমিশনের দ্বারা ইস্কন মায়াপুর স্বীকৃত পাবার পর যেন মানুষের ঢল প্রতিদিনই রোজকার রেকর্ড ভেঙে চলছে। তেমনই সোমবার ইংরেজি নববর্ষের দিনেও ব্যাতিক্রম ঘটেনি, রবিবার থেকেই লক্ষ লক্ষ মানুষের সমাগমে মুখরিত হয়েছে ইস্কন মায়াপুর। আর এই বিশেষ দিন বিশেষ পুজোর আয়োজনও করা হয়েছে, পাশাপাশি নিরাপত্তার জন্য রাখা হয়েছে বাড়তি নজরদারি, দূর্গাপুর থেকে আগত নুপুর চ্যাটার্জি জানান, ইস্কন মায়াপুরে এই প্রথম আসা, প্রতিবছরই ইংরেজি নববর্ষের দিনে কোথাও ঘুরতে যাওয়া হয়৷ এবছর মায়াপুরে এসে খুবই ভালো লাগলো, এখানকার পরিষেবাও যথেষ্ট ভালো, পাশাপাশি এদিন নবদ্বীপের বিভিন্ন মঠ মন্দিরেও দেখা গেলো ভক্ত সমাগমে সরগরম থাকতে। বীরভূম থেকে আগত সম্রাট দাস জানান প্রতিবছরই পরিবার নিয়ে বিশেষ দিনটিতে বেরোনো হয় এবছরও নবদ্বীপে এসে খুবই ভালো লাগলো, নবদ্বীপের চৈতন্য দেবের জন্মস্থান মন্দির সহ ধামেস্বর মহাপপ্রভু মন্দির, পোড়ামাতলা ঘুরেছি ।

According to Nabadwip Ferry Ghat sources, ferry services in Nabadwip, Mayapur and Swarupganj were disrupted due to fog. Besides, it is also known that all the security arrangements including miking, additional boats, launch services, have been kept considering the safety of passengers and safety. ISKCON Public Relations Officer Rasik Gauranga Das said that ISKCON Mayapur is currently the center of attraction for the world, after the recognition of ISKCON Mayapur by the Heritage Commission, it seems that the influx of people is breaking daily records every day.
