কোলকাতা (১১ ফেব্রুয়ারী ‘২৪):- ‘কোলকাতা ফিল্মস’-এর পরিচালনায় বাগুইআটিতে হয়ে গেল ‘কিং অ্যাণ্ড ক্যুইন অব বেঙ্গল’ নামাঙ্কিত এক সৌন্দর্য্য প্রতিযোগিতা। আয়োজক সংস্থার তরফ থেকে অধ্যক্ষ স্নেহাশিস ভঞ্জ জানিয়েছেন, “আবালবৃদ্ধবনিতার অব্যক্ত মনোবাসনাকে প্রকাশের লক্ষ্যে কাজ করছে ‘কোলকাতা ফিল্মস’।” সংস্থার অন্য দুই অংশীদার মিস মিমি ও মিস মেরিলিন একযোগে জানিয়েছেন, “দ্বিতীয় বর্ষের সৌন্দর্য্য প্রতিযোগিতা শিশু, তরুণ, তরুণী ও প্রাপ্ত বয়স্ক – এই চারটে ভাগে বিভক্ত ছিল। সেমিফাইনাল ৭ টা রাউন্ডে সাজানো ছিল।” আয়োজক সংস্থার তরফে মডেল কোরিওগ্রাফার অরিন্দম চ্যাটার্জি জানিয়েছেন, “এবারের প্রতিযোগিতার জন্য মোট ৮০ জন নাম নথিভুক্ত করলেও মোট ৫০ জন প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহণ করেছে। এই প্রতিযোগিতার উত্তীর্ণদের নিয়ে আগামী মাসে ফাইনাল প্রতিযোগিতা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।” অনুষ্ঠানে পরিচালক সুজিত গুহ, অভিনেত্রী সোমা চক্রবর্তী, অভিনেতা অভীক ভট্টাচার্য,জয় মুখার্জি সহ একাধিক বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তি উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
Kolkata (11 Feb '24):- A beauty pageant titled 'King and Queen of Bengal' was held in Baguiati under the management of 'Kolkata Films'. Director Snehashis Bhanj, on behalf of the organizing company, said, "Kolkata Films is working to express the unspoken passion of Abal Vriddhavanita." Miss Mimi and Miss Marilyn, two other partners of the organization, said together, "The second year beauty pageant was divided into four categories - children, youth, young women and adults. The semi-finals were arranged in 7 rounds." Model Choreographer Arindam Chatterjee said on behalf of the organizing body, "Out of a total of 80 people registered for this year's competition, only 50 people participated in the competition. The final competition will be held next month with those who passed the competition." Director Sujit Guha, actress Soma Chakraborty, actor Abhik Bhattacharya, Joy Mukherjee were present in the event.
