বিশিষ্ট আধ্যাত্মিক গুরু, আচার্য ও গৌড়ীয় মঠের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা শ্রীল ভক্তিসিদ্ধান্ত সরস্বতী ঠাকুর প্রভুপাদের জীবন ও তাঁর কর্মকাণ্ড নিয়ে ২০০০ বর্গ মিটার জায়গা জুড়ে বিশ্বের বৃহত্তম প্রদর্শনী শুরু হল মায়াপুরে ইসকনের ‘টেম্পল অফ বৈদিক প্ল্যানেটোরিয়ামে’। সারস্বত বৈষ্ণব সমাজের সহযোগিতায় আজ বৃহস্পতিবার, ২৯ ফেব্রুয়ারি থেকে শুরু হওয়া এই প্রদর্শনী সাজিয়ে তোলা হয়েছে কলকাতার ভক্তিবেদান্ত রিসার্চ সেন্টারের উদ্যোগে ।
উল্লেখ্য, ভক্তিসিদ্ধান্ত সরস্বতী ঠাকুর প্রভুপাদ গৌড়ীয় বৈষ্ণব ধর্মের প্রচারে তৎকালীন ভারতে ৬৪টি মঠ প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছিলেন। ভারতের বাইরে ব্রম্ভদেশ, জার্মানী এবং ইংল্যান্ডেও গৌড়ীয় বৈষ্ণব প্রচার কেন্দ্র প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। এর সুবাদে দেশের বাইরেও কৃষ্ণনাম ছড়িয়ে দিয়েছিলেন। তাঁর জন্মের সার্ধ শতবর্ষ উপলক্ষে তাঁকে নিয়ে বিশাল প্রদর্শনী খোলা হয়েছে সর্বসাধারণের জন্য। বেশ কয়েক মাস ধরে এই প্রদর্শনী চলবে বলে ইসকন সূত্রে জানানো হয়েছে।
প্রভুপাদের পাণ্ডুলিপি, তাঁর লেখা বই, বিভিন্ন সংবাদ মাধ্যমে প্রকাশিত খবরের পাশাপাশি প্রভুপাদের দুষ্প্রাপ্য ছবিও এই প্রদর্শনীতে দেখার সুযোগ থাকছে। গৌড়ীয় ধর্ম প্রচারে তাঁর অবদান এই প্রদর্শনীর মাধ্যমেই তুলে ধরা হয়েছে। এপর্যন্ত ইসকনে যতগুলি প্রদর্শনী হয়েছে তার মধ্যে এটিই অন্যতম ও সবচেয়ে বড় আকারের বলে মনে করা হচ্ছে।
আধ্যাত্মিক জীবনে ধর্মপ্রচারের জন্য প্রভুপাদ যে পরিব্রাজক হিসাবে ভ্রমন করেছিলেনন তাও তুলে ধরা হয়েছে এই প্রদর্শনীটিতে।
প্রদর্শনীটি সাজিয়ে তুলেছেন বিশিষ্ট শিল্প নির্দেশক যাদব সেন। গবেষণা করেছেন ভক্তিবেদান্ত রিসার্চ সেন্টারের গ্রন্থাগারিক সৌরিশ দাস।
৯৬ টি প্যানেলে ৫০০০ এর বেশি আর্টিকেল এই প্রদর্শনীতে স্থান করে নিয়েছে। টেম্পেল অফ বৈদিক প্ল্যানেটোরিয়াম এর নির্দেশক ব্রজবিলাস দাস প্রভু এই প্রদর্শনীর আনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধন করেন।
উল্লেখ্য, ২০২৩ সালের নভেম্বরে ইউনেস্কো শ্রীমৎ ভক্তিসিদ্ধান্ত সরস্বতী ঠাকুর প্রভুপাদের মতো দার্শনিক, সমাজ সংস্কারক ও বিশিষ্ট আধ্যাত্মিক মহাপুরুষের ১৫০ তম জন্মবার্ষিকীকে তাদের বার্ষিকী উদযাপনের তালিকায় অন্তর্ভুক্ত করেছে।
মূলতঃ ইস্কন মন্দিরের জন্য মায়াপুরে সারা বছর পুণ্যার্থী থেকে সাধারণ পর্যটকের অভাব হয় না। এই প্রদর্শনী চলাকালীন মন্দিরের পাশাপাশি মায়াপুরেও পর্যটকের সংখ্যা বাড়বে বলে আশা।
The world’s largest exhibition on the life and activities of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Tagore Prabhupada, the eminent spiritual master, acharya and founder of the Gaudiya Math, has opened at ISKCON’s ‘Temple of Vedic Planetarium’ in Mayapur, covering an area of 2,000 square meters. The exhibition, which started today, Thursday, February 29, in collaboration with the Saraswat Vaishnav Society, has been organized by the Bhaktivedanta Research Center, Kolkata. It may be noted that Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Tagore Prabhupada established 64 Maths in India at that time to promote Gaudiya Vaishnavism. Outside India, Gaudiya also established Vaishnava preaching centers in Brahmadesh, Germany and England. Thanks to this, he spread the name of Krishna outside the country. On the occasion of his birth centenary, a huge exhibition on him has been opened for public. ISKCON sources informed that this exhibition will continue for several months. In addition to Prabhupada’s manuscripts, books written by him, news published in various media, rare photos of Prabhupada can be seen in this exhibition. His contribution to the propagation of Gaudiya Dharma is highlighted through this exhibition. It is believed to be one of the largest and largest exhibitions ever held at ISKCON. The exhibition also highlights Prabhupada’s itinerant evangelism in spiritual life. The exhibition has been curated by eminent art director Yadav Sen. The research was done by Sourish Das, Librarian of the Bhaktivedanta Research Centre. More than 5000 articles in 96 panels have taken place in this exhibition. Brajbilas Das Prabhu, Director of Temple of Vedic Planetarium inaugurated the exhibition. Note that in November 2023, UNESCO included in their list of anniversary celebrations the 150th birth anniversary of philosophers, social reformers and eminent spiritual figures like Srimat Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Tagore Prabhupada. Mainly because of the ISKCON temple, Mayapur has no dearth of pilgrims to general tourists throughout the year. During this exhibition, the number of tourists is expected to increase in Mayapur as well as the temple.
