কবিগুরু রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের ভাষায় ‘তোমার হল শুরু আমার হল সারা’ এবছরের দোল উৎসবে বোলপুরবাসী তার উল্টো সুর তোলেন ‘তোমার হলো শেষ আমার হল শুরু’, এ বছরও বোলপুরবাসীরা আশায় আশায় থেকে তাদের প্রত্যাশার অবসান হলো না । বোলপুর শান্তিনিকেতনে বিশ্ব ভারতী ক্যাম্পাস এ বছরও দোল উৎসব উৎযাপন হলো না, তাই বোলপুরবাসী বিভিন্ন জায়গায় বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে বিকল্প দোল উৎসবের ব্যবস্থা করেছিল। বিগত করনা কারণে বা প্রাপ্তনী উপাচার্য বিদুত চক্রবর্তী যে দোল উৎসব বন্ধ করেছিল তা এ বছরও আসার আলো দেখালো না বোলপুর গ্রামবাসীকে , তাই বিকল্প দোল উৎসব, শান্তিনিকেতন তথা বোলপুরের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে আয়োজন করে বোলপুরবাসী বুঝিয়ে দিল তারা শান্তিনিকেতন কে বা তার ঐতিহ্যকে এত সহজে খর্ব হতে দেবেনা। রবীন্দ্রনাথের গানের ভাষায় তারা এ বছরও বলে উঠলো ”রাঙিয়ে দিয়ে যাও, যাও গো এবার যাবার আগে”। বোলপুরে- জামবনি দূর্গা মাতা ক্লাব, সৃজনী শিল্প গ্রাম ,সোনাঝুরির হাট রতন পল্লী, নতুন পুকুর এছাড়াও অন্যান্য জায়গায় অত্যন্ত সমারোহের সাথে রঙ্গিন উৎসবে সামিল হয়েছিল বোলপুরবাসী তথা দেশ ও বিদেশ থেকে আসা রং মাতানো মানুষ।
In the words of poet Rabindranath Tagore, ‘Tomar hal Shuru amar hal sara’ in this year’s Dol Utsav, the people of Bolpur raised the opposite tone, ‘Tomar is the end, I am the beginning’, even this year the people of Bolpur did not end their hopes. Bolpur Santiniketan Biswa Bharti Campus did not celebrate Dol Utsav this year too, so people of Bolpur arranged alternative Dol Utsav at different places. The dol festival which was stopped due to previous reasons or by the Vice-Chancellor Vidut Chakraborty did not show the light of coming to Bolpur villagers this year too, so by organizing alternative dol festival, Santiniketan and in different parts of Bolpur, the people of Bolpur made it clear that they will not let Santiniketan or its tradition be destroyed so easily. In the words of Rabindranath’s song, they said this year too, “Paint it, go before you go”.In Bolpur- Jamboni Durga Mata Club, Srijani Shilpa Village, Sonajhurir Hat Ratan Palli, New Pool and other places, the people of Bolpur as well as the colorful people from home and abroad participated in the colorful festival.
