মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের অনুপ্রেরণায় প্রায় ১০ লক্ষ টাকা ব্যয়ে একটি ড্রেনের আনুষ্ঠানিক শিলান্যাস

মালদা: মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের অনুপ্রেরণায় প্রায় ১০ লক্ষ টাকা ব্যয়ে একটি ড্রেনের আনুষ্ঠানিক শিলান্যাস করা হল। মালদার ইংলিশবাজার ব্লকের যদুপুর দুই নম্বর গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের জহুরা তলা হাই স্কুল থেকে রায়পুরহাট পর্যন্ত ১৪৩ মিটার ড্রেনের আনুষ্ঠানিক শিলান্যাস করা হয় এদিন‌। নারকেল ফাটিয়ে ড্রেনের কাজের শিলান্যাস করেন মালদা জেলা পরিষদের কর্মাধ্যক্ষ প্রতিভা সিংহ। এছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন স্থানীয় গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের প্রধান মেম্বার এবং অন্যান্য সদস্যরা। জানা যায় রায়পুরহাটের গ্রামবাসীদের দীর্ঘদিনের দাবি ছিল এই ড্রেনের। স্থানীয় জেলা পরিষদ সদস্য প্রতিভা সিংহের উদ্যোগে এদিন তারই শিলান্যাস করা হয়।

The foundation stone was laid at the initiative of local zilla parishad member Pratibha Singh.
