ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ পশ্চিমবঙ্গে প্রথম বাজারে আনলো “প্যারিওয়ার” কোম্পানি বিভিন্ন ধরণের বড় থেকে ছোটো নানা প্রকারের জলের পাইপ, ফিটিংস, টয়লেট ক্লিনার, স্যানিটারি ক্লিনার, ফ্লোর টাইলস ক্লিনার, বাথরুমে ক্লিনার, রুম পারফিউম সহ প্লাম্বারের নানা জিনিসপত্র। আজ কলকাতায় বাইপাসের পাঁচতারা হোটেলে এক সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে “প্যারিওয়ার” কোম্পানির ম্যানেজিং ডিরেক্টার কে ই রঙ্গনাথন জানালেন ১৯৬০ সাল থেকে আমাদের এই কোম্পানির পথ চলা শুরু করেছিলো বাথরুমের নানা প্রোডাক্ট দিয়ে। সারা ভারতে আমাদের এই ব্র্যান্ড নাম্বার ওয়ান গুণমানের দিক দিয়ে। আমরা কোনো নাম করা সেলিব্রেটি দিয়ে এড করাই না বা আমাদের কোনো ব্যান্ড এম্বাস্যাডার নেই, বা সলমন খান বা শাহরুখ খান কে দিয়ে আমাদের প্রোডাক্ট লঞ্চ করাই না, তাই খুব কম দামে সঠিক-সুলভ মূল্যে আমরা আমাদের প্রোডাক্ট বিভিন্ন দোকানে দিয়ে থাকি। খুব কম মর্জিনে আমরা ব্যাবসা করি। আমাদের লক্ষ একটাই ভালো গুণমানের প্রোডাক্ট ও কম দামে দেশের জনগণের হাতে তুলে দেওয়া। আমাদের মোট ৩০০০ হাজার ধরণের প্রোডাক্ট আছে। সারা ভারতে ১৫০০ দোকান আছে । আমাদের নিজস্ব ৩৫০০ কর্মচারী আছে, যারা প্রত্যেকে ট্রেনিং প্রাপ্ত প্লাম্বার।
২০১৮ সাল থেকে বিভিন্ন প্রকারের জলের পাইপ( cpvc, upvc & swr Range) ও বিভিন্ন টয়লেট ক্লিনার আমরা মার্কেটে এনেছি। যা বিহার, মুম্বাই, তামিলনাড়ু, তেলেঙ্গানা, অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশ, কর্ণাটক, কেরালা ও আন্দাবানে আমাদের এই ব্যাবসা বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে। কলকাতা সহ সারা পশ্চিমবঙ্গে আমরা আমাদের এই পাইপ, বিভিন্ন ক্লিনার, ফিটিংসের ব্যাবসা চালু হয়ে গেছে। আগামী দুই থেকে তিন বছরের মধ্যে আশা করছি আমাদের সেরা প্রোডাক্ট দিয়ে মার্কেট ধরে নিতে পারবো।
ওড়িশা, বিহার, পাটনা, বেঙ্গালোর, চেন্নাইতে লাস্ট ৫ বছরে আমরা দারুন লাভ করেছি। পশ্চিমবঙ্গে ১২০ কোটি টাকার টার্ন ওভার হবে প্রতি বছর আশা করছি। এখানে খুব ভালো মার্কেট আছে। প্রচুর বিল্ডিং হচ্ছে। নতুন বাড়ি বা ফ্লাট হচ্ছে। সেখানে আমাদের সব ধরণের পাইপ, জলের ট্যাংক থেকে ফিটিংস সব লাগছে। সব আমরা দিচ্ছি। প্রতিটা প্রোডাক্টে থাকছে ওয়ারেনটি। ফিনিশিং বিউটিফুল। সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে এক প্রশ্নের উত্তরে কে ই রঙ্গনাথন জানালেন আমাদের ৫৫ জন অভিজ্ঞ কর্মচারী ও প্লাম্বার কলকাতা ও পশ্চিমবঙ্গে কাজ করছে মার্কেটিং-এ। আশা করছি ২-৩ বছরের মধ্যে ৪০% থেকে ৫০% মার্কেট আমরা নিয়ে নেবো এখানে। গত ২০২০-২১ কোভিড বা করোনার সময় আমদের প্লাম্বাররা যেভাবে ওই লকডাউনের সময় যা সার্ভিস দিয়েছিলো জনগণের জন্য যা অন্য কোনো কোম্পানি করতে বা দিতে পারেনি। তাদের অর্থনৈতিক ভাবে কোনো সমস্যা হয়নি। আমাদের কোম্পানিতে কেউ ছাঁটাই হয়নি। এমনকি ডিজিট্যাল সিস্টেমে আমরা কাজ করেছি। খুব গর্ব করে বলতে পারি প্যারিওয়ার কোম্পানি সারা ভারতের ৩০টা সিটিতে সফলতার সাথে ব্যাবসা করছে । আমার বিশ্বাস যে আমাদের সব প্রোডাক্ট গুলোয় আমরা সঠিক গুণমান ও সুলভ মূল্যে যদি বজায় রাখতে পারি আগামী দিনে, তাহলে দেখবেন এই কোম্পানি একদিন সাড়া বিশ্ব জয় করবে।
Indrajit Aich: First in The Market in West Bengal, the “Parryware” company has brought various types of water pipes, fittings, toilet cleaners, sanitary cleaners, floor tiles cleaners, bathroom cleaners, room perfumes and plumber items. Addressing a press conference at a five-star hotel on the bypass in Kolkata today, K E Ranganathan, managing director of “Paryyware” company, said that since the 1960s, our company started its journey with various bathroom products. This brand number one of ours all over India is in terms of quality. We don’t add with a name-calling celebrity or we don’t have a band ambassador, or launch our products with Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan, so we offer our products at different stores at a very low price. We do very little business. Our aim is to hand over the products of one good quality and at a lower price to the people of the country. We have a total of 3,000 types of products. There are 1,500 shops across India. We have our own 3,500 employees, all of whom are trained plumbers.
Since 2018, we have brought different types of water pipes (cpvc, upvc & swr range) and various toilet cleaners to the market. Our business has grown in Bihar, Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Andaban. We have started our pipes, various cleaners, fittings business all over West Bengal including Kolkata. In the next two to three years, I hope to be able to capture the market with our best product.
In Odisha, Bihar, Patna, Bangalore, Chennai, we have made great gains in the last 5 years. We expect a turnover of Rs 120 crore in West Bengal every year. There’s a very good market here. There are a lot of buildings. There is a new house or flat. There we have all kinds of pipes, all the fittings from the water tank. We’re giving everything. There is warren in every product. Finishing beautiful. Replying to a question at a press conference, K E Ranganathan said that 55 of our experienced employees and plumbers are working in marketing in Kolkata and West Bengal. Hopefully, in 2-3 years, we will take 40% to 50% of the market here. In the last 2020-21, during Covid or Corona, the way our plumbers gave services to the people during that lockdown, which no other company could do or provide. They didn’t have any problems financially. No one in our company has been fired. We have even worked on the digital system. I am very proud to say that The Petroleum Company is doing business successfully in 30 cities all over India. It is my belief that if we can maintain the right quality and affordable price in all our products in the coming days, then this company will one day win the world.
