কলকাতা, ৫ই এপ্রিল ২০২৫: পূর্ব ভারতের বৃহত্তম হাসপাতাল চেইন মণিপাল হসপিটালস খেলোয়াড়দের সুস্থতা নিশ্চিত করতে এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদক্ষেপ নিয়েছে — রয়্যাল ক্যালকাটা গল্ফ ক্লাব (RCGC)-এ একটি অত্যাধুনিক ফার্স্ট-এইড সেন্টার চালু করে। জরুরি পরিস্থিতিতে দ্রুত সাড়া দেওয়ার লক্ষ্যেই মণিপাল হসপিটালস আরসিজিসির ক্যাডিদের কার্ডিওপালমোনারি রিসাসিটেশন (CPR) প্রশিক্ষণ ও সার্টিফিকেশন দিয়েছে, যাতে তারা জীবনরক্ষাকারী দক্ষতা অর্জন করতে পারে।
এই ফার্স্ট-এইড সেন্টারের উদ্বোধন করেন গল্ফ ক্যাপ্টেন মি. গৌরব ঘোষ এবং ডঃ আয়নাভ দেবগুপ্ত, রিজিওনাল চিফ অপারেটিং অফিসার, মণিপাল হসপিটালস (পূর্বাঞ্চল), উপস্থিত ছিলেন ক্লাবের সম্মানিত সদস্যবৃন্দ ও মণিপাল হসপিটালস-এর বিশিষ্ট প্রতিনিধিরা। গল্ফ শেড এলাকায় অনুষ্ঠিত এই উদ্বোধন অনুষ্ঠানে ক্লাব সদস্যদের স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত অংশগ্রহণ লক্ষ্য করা যায়। ফার্স্ট-এইড সেন্টারটি প্রতিদিন সকাল ৬টা থেকে সন্ধ্যা ৬টা পর্যন্ত খোলা থাকবে। এই সেন্টারটি গল্ফার, কর্মী এবং দর্শনার্থীদের জন্য প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসার সুবিধা প্রদান করবে। তাৎক্ষণিক সহায়তা ও স্থিতিশীলতার মাধ্যমে রোগীকে হাসপাতালে পাঠানোর পূর্ব প্রস্তুতি হিসেবে এই কেন্দ্র গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করবে, বিশেষ করে জীবন-মরণ পরিস্থিতিতে।

উদ্বোধন অনুষ্ঠানে ডঃ আয়নাভ দেবগুপ্ত বলেন,”আমরা চাই কলকাতার মানুষ সুস্থ থাকুক এবং সঠিকভাবে ওয়েলনেসকে বেছে নিক। প্রতিরোধমূলক স্বাস্থ্যসেবা ও সহজলভ্য চিকিৎসা সহযোগিতার প্রতিশ্রুতি রক্ষা করতেই এই ফার্স্ট-এইড সেন্টারটি চালু করা হয়েছে। গল্ফার, সদস্য এবং কর্মীদের দ্রুত ও কার্যকর সহায়তা দেবে এই কেন্দ্র। ক্যাডিদের CPR শেখানো খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ, কারণ সময়মতো সাড়া জীবন বাঁচাতে পারে। আমরা শহরের অন্যান্য নামী ক্লাবেও এমন ফার্স্ট-এইড সেন্টার চালু করবো এবং কলকাতার মানুষ যাতে সঠিকভাবে সুস্থ থাকে তা নিশ্চিত করবো। মণিপাল হসপিটালস সর্বাঙ্গীন ওয়েলনেস-কে সমর্থন করবে।” এই উদ্যোগ কেবল একটি নতুন পদক্ষেপ নয়, বরং এটি স্পোর্টস হেলথ কেয়ারে একটি মাইলফলক, যা ক্লাবের বিশ্বমানের পরিবেশকে আরও নিরাপদ ও চিকিৎসাগতভাবে সজ্জিত করে তুলবে।
Kolkata, April 7, 2012: The largest hospital in East India has taken an important step to ensure the well-being of the Manipal Hospitals players Royal Calcutta Golf Club (RCGC) launches a sophisticated First-Aid Center. To respond to the emergency circumstances, Manipal Hospitals has provided the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training and certification of the Cadies of the RCCC, so that they can acquire life-saving skills. This First-Aid Center was inaugurated by Golf Captain Mr. Gaurav Ghosh and Dr. Ainav Devgupta, Regional Chief Operating Officer, Manipal Hospital (Eastern), and honourable members of the club and prominent representatives of Manipal Hospitals were present. The inauguration held in the Golf Shade area was noticed by the spontaneous participation of club members. The First-Aid Center will be open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. This center will provide first aid facilities for golfers, staff and visitors. The center will play an important role in preparation for sending the patient to the hospital with immediate assistance and stability, especially in life-and-death situations. Manipal Hospitals will conduct various health awareness programs for club members and golfers all year long, so that awareness of preventive treatment and hygiene is raised. Besides, all sports events of the Manipal Hospitals Club will be associated as a health care partner, and a special ambulance will be deployed in each event for any emergency. Realizing the importance of emergency preparations, Manipal Hospitals has launched a special CPR training program for the RCGC cadets, so that they can help immediately when there is any danger in the field. In the future, regular awareness sessions and a special physio-rhub facility will be developed for club members, so that the players are well-informed and can rehabilitate.
As part of this partnership, members of the RCGC have been provided with a special privilege card, through which they will get special benefits at Manipal Hospitals.
